i like the wood elve models and i know that should be enough to start them but
i also like the ogre models tell me tell me all why i should start wood elves

if you are talking about the old wood elf models then I would wait for the new ones to come out before you actually start the army and choose

well I've been waiting for Wood Elves for some time now, but since OK are here first, and they have such cool models, I'm just getting an army of them in the meantime ^_^

Theres no point in collecting an army that will just be completely (and I mean completely) redone in a matter of months. It's a total waste of your time IMO.

Either sit tight, or collect OK until then. Otherwise you'll shell out a load of cash for metal old figures, when you know the new plastic ones will look ten times better.

But ultimately, your choice.

Ogres are fat and bald and eat people/goblins.

But what are Wood Elves GOOD for? Magic shooting WHAT? Why should a newbie like me want to collect a strange new army? :woodelf: :woodelf:

ATM there is very little reason to collect WE. If you have the models already, then fine. But to start collecting now would be folly. It is also hard to say what you would want to play them for when the new list is out, since none of us wihtout a NDA knows :D

I love WE, they're excellent in mobility, shoots, and gurellia warfare in their current form. My question is why wait if you want the army, it's taken so long to come out, and is now delayed to give the lizardmen and High elf new models for their upcomming campaign. They'll probably delay it again for something else.

Go for a small collection if you want them (1000, 1500 pts) because their next ed will be 100% different...

Im also starting new with WE as well, im not waiting because i convert most of my models anyway, and im not planning on ruining/converting the new models when they come out.
