I am assuming that should yoour tyrant take Mawseeker as well as well as Beast Killer then he would be immune to the stupidity caused by Mawseeker, as Beast killer makes him immune to psyco. Am I right?

You cant have things in warhammer that are both stupid/stubborn etc and immune to phsych, so to the best of my knowledge I'd say yes.
But then, I think immune to phsych on a fluf level just means exceptionally brave, or for some reason just wont run from anything. In fluff that wouldn't stop you being stupid, but in game terms it seems it does.
I'll stand aside and let someone else be the real rules lawyer. I'm not 100% sure.

You can only take one big name, so you can't take both anyway. :(

Yes but that was all a misunderstanding.
