Longdrongs Character

Name:Kain

Race:Human

Occupation:Healer/mercenary

Kain eventually turned out to be the apothecary's assistant, and after a few years he had learned a lot about healing and such.He then went to the empire, and studied at the University of altdorf. He studied Riekspiel, herbology /healing and Duelling, and after 2 years he moved to Araby. He learned a lot about healing here, and also learned how ot wield a scmitar with precision. Equipment:Food for a week, a intricate scimitar, a horse’s whistle and his robes.he also has some money of varying countries.

Aesgareth's Character

Name: Terrence D'Aubrey

Race: Human

Occupation: Bretonnian Knight

Personality: Terrence seems to reflect all the stereotypes of a bretonnian knight. Honourable to a fault, brash, straightforward, and hopelessly incapable of understanding the need for underhanded means in dealing with one's enemies. He secretly habrours a burning hatred for the men of the empire, who he blames for his father's death during the "Storm of Chaos"

Physical description: Again, Terrence seems to reflect the typical image of a knight. Tall and fair-skinned, he walks with a slight swagger, carrying himself with obvious confidence and pride. His hair is dark brown, and his eyes are dark blue. He wears a suit of finely made armour, under a tabard of pink and black, the colours of the house of Aubrey, bearing the sigil of a falcon cutching a lance and shield as though jousting. At his side hangs a longsword, and he carries a shield, again decorated with his family's heraldry. He also posesses a lance, decorated with pink and black pennants, and rides into battle upon a powerful bretonnian warhorse, bedecked in the same colours and heraldry.

Background: Terrence is the second son of Duc Ollivier D'Aubrey, the lord of a small duchy near Anguille. For the last twenty years of his life, he has been raised in the typical fashion of a bretonnian noble, educated in the knightly virtues and skills, trained to serve in the army of the king. Recently, however, this life has been shattered. Sent to Middenheim as part of the Bretonnian force aiding in the defense of the city, Duc Ollivier was slain when his regiment was attacked by a Keeper of Secrets, the Empire artillery crews assigned to support him having fled in terror at the beast's approach. Now, a cutthroat struggle for succession has broken out within the D'Aubrey family, with Terrence's brothers, cousins and uncles all striving to succeed the Duc's title. Terrence's ideals have been severely shaken by witnessing noble knight sinking to such treacherous depths over something so trivial, and he has fled the family lands, searching for some sort of cause to embrace in order to restore his own faith in the knighthood. He has had no luck of late, but has heard rumors of a respected knight seeking volunteers to join him on a perilous quest into the cursed city of Mousillon. Surely there, the young knight would find the chance to prove his worth in battle, and to prove that at least some of the Aubrey family have not turned their backs on the knightly ideals.

Equipment: A suit of knightly armour, a longsword, a lance, a shield, and a barded warhorse. He probably also has at least some supplies, since he is "on a quest."

Luc's Character

Name: Jonas Darthan

Race: Human (Breton)

Occupation: Yeoman Huntsman

Personality: Generally outgoing and good natured, he has always been very bitter about his name having prevented him from becoming a knight, though he reminds himself he is still quite a cut above any peasant

Physical Description: Rough brown hair, earthen mottled colour tunic and leggings (sort of like camoflauge fatigues), underneath the tunic is a very low quality shirt of chainmail, a decrepit relic from his family's once prosperous history

Background: Jonas is the head of the huntsmen among the forces of the Grand Marshal Luc Arkhame, a knight who has sworn to bring Mousillion back into the light. Both came from once proud family's that have fallen into ruin after the many events of the dark history of this land. While Luc's ancestors maintained their honour, Jonas's had been among those on the side of Maldred, and his name has always held him back. Jonas has sworn the same vow to restore his home, and has fought to that end in the Crusaders for many years. His aim with a bow is unparalleled, and his tracking skills are next to none; and now he finds himself sitting in a tavern wasting his off time.

Equipment: Longbow, Quiver and Arrows, Chainmail Shirt, Short Sword

Rasputin II's Character

Name: Hans “Gold Teeth” Klobar

Race: Human

Occupation: Treasure Hunter

Personality: Hans has, as a result of his occupation amongst other things, become slightly deranged. He is not mad per sae, instead his lust for treasure has become something of an obsession. Hans is a nice enough person to be around, unless you threaten his line of work so to say, when he becomes some-what single minded and violent.

Physical description: Hans is a rough looking man in his late thirties. His short black hair is somewhat greasy and unkept. His face is always slightly dirty and his face is always adorned with stubble. Han’s left eye is missing, and he now wears a steel eye patch to protect it. Klobar’s whole bottom rows of teeth have been replaced with gold, which was done simply to show of his talents – however that works. He wears a light chain mail shirt as well as a heavy leather cuirass. In addition he wears a dark brown pair of steel toe caped leather boots and a matching pair of gloves. On his back Hans carries a huge pack full of everything he needs and doesn’t need.

Background: Hans grew up in a village outside of Marienburg with his parents, of which is father was a farmer. He was as rebellious in youth as he is eccentric now. At the age of 17 his father told him to leave the village and only to return when he could settle down. To date he has not been back. After some time wandering through the wilds he discovered a dead party of dwarfs and their treasure. Since that day Hans has been obsessed by treasure. He now travels the old world looking for more, and more. Over the years he has amassed a sizeable collection of stuff that is generally lost or sold off to fund expeditions to get more treasure. Having no home Hans carries everything he actively owns on his back. Over the years Hans has had to battle his way through a fare share of creatures or other treasure hunters. As a result he has discovered his own fighting technique. After an encounter with a Dark Elf raiding party on the North Shores of Estalia Hans discovered a newfound love for ranged warfare. Acquiring a Dark Elf Repeater crossbow, Hans has become permanently affiliated with this weapon, as yet having not sold or lost it. In addition Hans carries as many other ranged weapons as he can, favouring pistols – by the bucket load. Hans isn’t an inventor, but that hasn’t stopped him “creating”. His most useful invention to date is something he calls “Duck-Tape” which he famously used to bind two pistols together, which caused the loss of his left eye.

Equipment: Chain Mail shirt and leather Hauberk. He carries a small dagger as well as a Repeater Crossbow and as may pistols as he can get his hands on. In addition he carries 25 feet of rope, enough provisions (including several roles of Duck-Tape) to live for a year on the very top of the mountains of Mourn.

Shaargors is called Setwain and is an elven adventurer. I have given the name because it is needed but you need to be in to the second part before his fluff comes out. Sorry for my secrecy.

Cal, could you type your GM posts on word, that way spell check can kick in and get at least some of the mistakes you make. I know it might sound rich comming from me, but I honestly can't understand a large percentage of things you write, and that doesn't make for a good RP.

Cheers,

Ras

Fine by me. I admit to being lazy on the web. But I will do the gm stuff on word.

Prince Cal - February 5, 2005 01:03 PM (GMT)
Shaargors will be up as soon as my update is finished and then we can get going. If you could keep any questions or ooc here as the thread is getting a bit messy in places.

RasputinII - February 5, 2005 02:02 PM (GMT)
I'm pulling out Cal. A combonation of too much work and a lack of interest. I dont liek the way the GM has a PC nor the way that character can't act in character. Sorry maety, but I'm out.

Prince Cal - February 5, 2005 02:08 PM (GMT)
Ah well, I have had intrest froma couple of others so I will check with them.

LordChilipepa - February 14, 2005 02:26 PM (GMT)
Caledorian, I'm giving you official notification that Mousillon is under my gaze as a potentially dead RP. At the end of this week (Friday... probably in the morning) I'm going to purge this forum, locking a lot of dead material. Just so you know - if I'm missing something and there is still life here, make sure to present some evidence (i.e. posts) by Friday.

Luc_Arkhame - February 14, 2005 09:16 PM (GMT)
I'm just waiting for Cal to resolve the exiting of Ras from the RP, as my last post was tied to Ras's character's actions.

Prince Cal - February 14, 2005 10:36 PM (GMT)
Don't worry, I'l post the update (proof tomorrow), I was having decorating done today so it's hard to get to the computer for a decent amount of time.

Sorry to all those playing but I've been busy. Oh and chili, I'm Cal not Caledorian.

Prince Cal - February 16, 2005 07:55 PM (GMT)

Prince Cal - February 17, 2005 08:33 PM (GMT)
Okay, I just need shaargor to reply to luc's question and we'll have lancelot in.

Launcelot pappillion - February 17, 2005 08:37 PM (GMT)
good. Hope you like my character. (I have noticed a few spelling and grammar errors in the text, but hope it doesn't matter)

Prince Cal - February 19, 2005 04:56 PM (GMT)
Launcelots character:
Name: Handro Undragodír

Race: Human

Occupation: Monk

Personality: Handro is a quiet and thoughtful person, striving to perfect his life by living in balance with nature. Every action and dececion he makes are based on nature and the life that pulse inside every living being. He has no oppinion about the world around him, but listens to natures call and follow its biding.

Physical description: Handro is a normal build person. He has long dark hair which floats down his shoulders in a big ponytail. Handro wears a orange coloured rope which reflects the colourful nature around him.

Background:
At the age of 16 Handro, a farm boy, was picked up by traveling monks, who promised Handro's parents to take care of the teenager and show him a peaceful way of life. Handro was taken to a monastary far out in nowhere. Handro lived an isolated life in the monastary for about twenty years, every day was the same, adn Handro didn't mind, he liked it that way. But then peace broke, and the chaos invasion began. Handro tried to understand natures reason for turning a blind eye to the war, and after countless prayers his question was answered: good or evil things happens for a reason and nature will not disturb anything that happens. Handro accepted the answer and continued his isolated life, were he for ten more years trained his martial arts skills, and strived to be one with nature. But one day changed Handro's life.
Handro sat amidst the tall grass at the bottom of the hill, his staff cradled loosely in his arms, his thoughts drifting skyward, up where the white clouds scudded across the clear blue skye. Spread out on the hill above him, the sheep placidly grazed. Grasshoppers buzzed in the grass around him. Butterflies fluttered from buttercup to buttercup. Handro sat so still that occasianolly the butterflies landed on him, fooled by the burnt-orange color of his homespun robes.
Handro was lost in thoughts of his own, when suddenly a message arrived to him. It was not a message sent by any mortal, but a message from nature itself, carried with the wind to Handro's ear. Nature called its child to life, waking Handro from centuries of sleep. There was no need to explain to Handro why he should help the noble bretonian knights in battle, for Handro knew the answer. He was sent by nature to give advice to the living, and to help them against an army of abnormal beings who was created against the will of nature itself.
So Handro rose to his feets, and began the long tirering walk towards the bretonian knights.
At last Handro felt his life has a purpose.

Equiptment:
A staff and his orange robe.

Luc_Arkhame - February 28, 2005 10:20 PM (GMT)
