Flamepheonix182 - January 6, 2005 05:08 AM (GMT)
OK heres my sehesmet construct army list ( I don't have the WD with me so i'm not sure if his point cost is correct plz let me know)
Characters:
Sehesmet: 490
Core:
Tomb scorpion 85
Tomb scorpion 85
Tomb scorpion 85
Tomb scorpion 85
Tomb scorpion 85
Tomb scorpion 85
X4 Ushabti 260
X4 Ushabti 260
Special:
Bone Giant (giant bow) 240
Bone Giant (giant bow) 240
Army total: 2000
Ok I know this list might not work very well but it would be fun to play. I was thinking that I'll put 2 tomb scorpions on each flank and 2 burrowed for warmachine and character hunting and the ushabti and bone giants will bring up the center. the 2 bone ginats with bows will shoot as they move into combat. well let me know any thoughts/mistakes I may have made.

YES! Finally, someone who has actually bothered to use the Quatar army list!
So, let me guess: all the Scorps start the battle underground, leaving Sehenesmet, the Giants and the Ushabti ontheir ownfor the first rounds? Personally, I think this list will be blasted to hell early on if you're facing an artillery-heavy army.

YEah i think your army will not stand for long and you have nothing with anny real staying power, just constructs, i would say you have WAY to manny TS's. I made a Sehemesmet list a month back, i think its pretty balaced even though i would probably take out the Chariots for another BG with Hw-Shield( IMO the best combination you can give him) And as you can see he costs 595, not 490.

You know how some army books have theme lists at the vback of them, examples are the blood line lists in the vampire book,
most aren'ttourney legal includeing this one which was a them list in a white dwarf I think, For an army of quatar, basically a construct army.

I've played this list a few times with 5 giants. All converted to fit the army with 2-handed weapons, bows shields. etc..., the rest were basically scorpions.
Very difficult to play it since your leader is also your hierophant and you can't permit yourself not to send him to battle.

I would also expect that any special character that precludes you from taking extra Priests really ties your hands. At least Settra gives you extra incantations for certain units, but with Sehenesmet you're stuck with his two incantations.
