Here is my first attempt at a Tomb Kings list. Let me know what all you experienced Tomb Kings players think

Tomb King: Spear of Antarhak, Chariot of Fire 275
Lich Priest: Cloak of Dunes, Hieratic Jar 160
Lich Priest: 115
Lich Priest: 115

Skeleton Chariot x3: Mirage Standard 180
Skeleton Chariot x3: 120
Skeleton Heavy Cav x5: 80
Skeleton Heavy Cav x5: 80
Skeleton Warriors x23: Sheilds, Full Command, Banner of Undying Legion
Skeleton Warriors x10 Bows
Skeleton Warriors x10 Bows

Ushabti x3
Tomb Scorpian

Screaming Skull Catapult

Well what do ya think? I think its a solid all around list. The idea is to have the block of skeletons hold the center along with the bowman and catapult and use my fast units as flank attackers :thumb:

in my opinion the heavy calvary are a bit out of place, Id get rid of those prehaps for either another unit of chariots and a swarm or 2 more skele units, however if youreally want to keep the heavy calvary make one big unit, try and get it up to 12 at least as theres heavy calvary and there's tomb kings heavy calvaery, and tomb kings heavy calvary, And tomb kings need numbers or a mummy to win combats. :D

Otherwise a fairly solid list.

a hammer and anvil tactic not bad though... but u may need a bit more troops to hold them up... try staff of ravening to waste more dispell dice and more archers...

try this one: (2100 pts)

1 high priest (2 dispel scrolls,neffera's plaques,cloak of dunes)
1 priest (2 dispel scrolls),casket of souls
1 priest (dispel scroll,hieratic jar)
1 prince (scorpion armour,enchanted shield,great weapon)
2x25 skeletons (shields,light armour,banners,musicians but NO champions)
1 tomb swarm
14 tomb guard (full command, banner of the undying legion)
3 scorpions
1 catapult

Use the skeletons to auto-break your enemies and hunt them down with your scorpions. It had a lot of fun against High Elves,a defensive army though... :D

no offence draco but your army wont last much long against a standard army... though using a high liche priest ur army lacks in power units and 3 scorpians wont last tt long... the tomb guard too few to last, plus a single combat hero( tomb Prince) wont help much as compared to a tomb kings in terms of power... the skeletons provides a ample average unit but against e better units they cant last either...

i don't wan't to kill my enemies with my units,i want to autobreak them and then overrun. And i can do nothing better to heal the army.It was very effective with the high elves. No offence, but give it a try.

Brimmstorm- I would suggest that you get some dispel scrolls.... I always at least get 1 or 2 in a 2000 point battle.. Just depends on the army you are playing against

HighPriest_Lokist - January 2, 2005 10:20 AM (GMT)
the auto beak is a risky thing though... cause a single break up will be diastrous since our reanimation is poor compared to vampire counts( though i hate to admit it) hence this tactic is not too good... better for vc...

Draco - January 24, 2005 09:58 AM (GMT)
VC raise skeletons 1000%100 better that TK,but answer me that question because i had a VC army:What happens to a VC player when he loses a Black Knight?
