hi everyone,

this is an arena by me and zacharias_the_everling, we will do the rolling and write the stories....

these are the rules:

- can be hero or lord

- heroes 100 pts of magic items, lords normal pts on magic items

- character may be mounted

- character with highest movement couts as charging, if equal, character with highest initiative if eqaul roll on a d6

- must be an excisting character with excisting magic items and excisting stats and
must be battle legal

- must be no more than 250 pts.

- we don't calculate CR, as characters come to fisht and not to flee.. ^_^

We will follow this system:
there are in total 8 characters, when all 8 characters are posted, we will randomly decide who fights who.....the winner of the figths goes the the next round and then it wil be randomly decided which winner figths which winner, the winners of that battles will be in the final, the winner of that battle is the most supreme character in the warhammer wold :P

And please post fluff also, so we can see why he comes to an arena.....

Not very much creatures have seen him, but some know that lives under the ground, he kills dwarven miners. He has a great sword on his back, a weird pistol on his side. And a Crown on his head. He isn't a prince, some of them think he got it when he killed the empire king. He fights often and he isn't a coward. He killed many lords.

fluff: Eriksoon was born in a small village in the chaos wastes 30 years ago, there he grew up to be a well build and strong man. So one day, when a band of warriers came by, they recruited him to their army which was marching to battle against some empire cities. He proved himself worthy to be a champion of khorne after quite a short time, and he was the man that made the chaos forces win against the Empire in that battle. now he has returned as a glorius hero, but that is not enough for him, so he has decided to win this arena to prove to khorne that he can become a CHAOS LORD

The city of Ux-mal was once a great and powerful city, ruled over by the wise and ancient Slann Lord Xlantec. However, during the great calamity that saw the birth of Chaos, Ux-mal was beset upon by countless daemons. With his last amount of strength, Lord Xlantec placed a great protective spell over the city, warding it from the daemons, but placing its denizens under millennia of hibernation in the process.
Over the many millennia that followed, a select group of Skinks, lead by the priest Tlacepotl, watched over Ux-mal and its sleeping inhabitants. However, with the renewed rise of Chaos, the time has come for the spell to be lifted and for Ux-mal's cohorts to march to war once again.
Ara-kor was the first of the Saurus that the Skinks revived. A great hero of the city, Ara-kor has forgotten most of his previous life, but nonetheless aids the Skinks in their quest to retrieve the shards of the Eyes of Sotek -- six arcane objects of great power that, once reassembled, will be able to lift the curse and revive Lord Xlantec once more.

Slaughterer's Blade (Counts as a great weapon in all respects, so +2 Strength and strikes last. Also, for each wound that he inflicts, roll a D6; on a 4+, he regains one lost wound, up to his starting Wound value; +40 points)

Armour of Damnation (4+ save, enemies must re-roll successful hits, +30 points)

Gaze of the Gods (at the beginning of the fight, roll a D6; on a 1, he has a 6+ ward save, on a 2-3 he has a 5+ ward save, and on a 4-5-6 he has a 4+ ward save, +30 points)

Total Cost: 195 points

Summary: 4+ WS6 attacks at S7 that hit last, for each successful wound he inflicts, roll a D6, on a 4+ he regains a wound, enemies must re-roll successful hits, 4+ save and variable ward save.

Foe Bane (25pts) All hits on a target with 3 or more wounds on its starting profile will always wound on a 2+. Armour saves are modified by the strength of the bearer.

Helm of Fotune (25pts) The helm confers a 6+ armour save which can be combined with other items. The wearer can re-roll failed armour saves.

Armour Save: 3+ re-rollable

Fluff: Arhain Thalui was once a great Prince of Nagarythe before the Sundering. When the Dark Magic released by the Dark Elf sorcereses sank most of his kingdom he swore an oath of never ending war on the twisted elves who destroyed his family and freinds.
He joined a band of fellow elves who shares his view. In secret they forged some magical armour for him. Whilst on a raid he found a strange twisted blade with magical properties. On the same raid he saved a High Elf prince from a band of shades. Out of Gratitude the Prince Gifted him with a helm of ithilmar and sea gold. Which has saved his life many times from then on.

.....why do you want him to be a scout? that armor is totally waste of poins IMHO, just give him heavy armour, has the same effects in our arena but a lot cheaper.....

Fluff:
Ikit is a strange tall skaven, he is, even for a skaven, not very smart, he always wants to fights, which brings him in trouble a lot, he lives in the tunnels under the wolrd edge moutains, maily under Karak Kadrin, sometimes he attacks with whole packs of plague monks, censer and rat swarms, terrorising the slayers of karak kadrin......when he heard of this arena, he immediatly went to it. till now he hasn't lost a battle yet, but maybe that's gonna change in this arena.......

Equipment:
Ikit's flail
This strange looking flail(it's gowing green!) is used by Ikit for years, he never lost a battle with it and slayed a lot of dwarves and humans with it, it has some mysterious powers against creatures standing next to him......
Counts as a plague censer(counts as flail(+2 st in first turn of combat)), but every model(friend or foe!) in btb must take a thoughness test, if failed, take one wound with no as allowed clan pestilens skaven and models with the mark of nurgle only fail on a 6+)....(no magic item, although the attacks count as being magical)
16 pts.

Ikit's amulet
Ikit found this strange amulet in on of the deeper tunnels, it was made by one of the greatest prophets of the horned rat, it offers great defensive powers....
Counts as warpstone amulet(4+ ws, roll at the beginning of the battle, on 1, the character is dead and thus lost the match, on 2-6 nothing happened(25 pts.)) and the twisted crown of the horned rat(regeneration(50 pts.)) and a warpstone charm(one re-roll per battle(25 pts.)).
100 pts.

He comes to total of 186 pts, he has a total of 4 ws5 st6 attacks in the first round, and every round therafter 4 ws5 st4 attacks, in addition, the enemy has to take a thoughness test every turn of get a wound(bring it on Arhain Thalui :P ), besides he has a 4+ ws and a 4+ regeneration save, which can kill himself on a 1 but whatever :P and he can re-rol lone dice in the battle(the warpstone charm cannot be used to re-roll a 1 of the warpstone amulet)

Vembrances of Defense(55pts)- Gives the character a 4+ ward save and in addition the character can reroll any armor save he makes.

Helm of Fortune- (25pts)-Gives the character a 6+ rerollable save that can be combined iwth other armor.

Fluff: Aravar is an elf from the noble Tiranocian line of Galdean. He is unique for an elf from tiranoc though, for teh fact that he doesn't use a chariot. In fact, he would never set foot in one, preffering his horse, and his best friend, Maevanis. Some say that Aravar has a skill with his horse that some Ellyrions would even envy. He also, having been trained by his father, and carrying on the noble Galdean tradition, uses the Glaive. The glaive is an exotic weapon from far Araby that the galdean line has been training in for as long as any noble family, even the provincional commander's family- the Nightstars, can remember. Aravar is a stunningly handsome elf who wears his colors of blue and yellow with pride wherever he goes.
