I was gawping at the new ogre kingdom models after i recently attended a tournament that involved two armies put together (joint border patrol rules in WD) when a thought hit me:

What will the orge kindoms by allowed to ally with?

Would they be evil? (chaos, skaven, orcs etc)
Or would they be sort of neutral? (DOW type of thing)
I don't think they'd be on the 'good' side

I don't believe in black and while extremes, but in the particular case of the Ogre Kingdoms, I'd say they'd be mercenary- fight for whoever pays.

Four OK units will be available as DoW for other armies, so you can take them with anyone (except Brets, obviously).

As far as allying two armies togther goes, Gav Thorpe (at UK Games Day) said that they'll be allowed to ally with anyone because "they'll do anything for food."

Ogres are neutral in the scheme of things in the old world.

I beleive what longdrong said. They would realy only fight for the side that would benifit them.

while on the whole the kingdom would fight for whoever benefitted them(especially under the overtyrant's moneymongering rule) i think certain tribes would have slants to certain ways.

obviously spawnchomper would be a little eviler

and id thinkthe feastmasters would be a little umm... gooder
