Title: Chariot racing!
Ross - October 17, 2004 03:10 PM (GMT)
the rules are simple.you design a character that is able to ride in a chariot.It must cost no more than 300 points,not including the cost of the chariot itself.the chariot will have on crew,and can have NO UPGRADES.I require 5 charioteers,and the rules are as followes.
the 5 chariots are deployed 2" apart in a 30" wide racetrack.the finishline is 50" away.
chariots can attack each other.You may choose to drive alongside a chariot,in which the 2 characters will fight alone.the character with the highest initative will go first.
You can only hold or stand and shoot as a charge reaction.
you can gett attacked in the back
there is no combat res,only at the end of the combat,move both combatants their normal movement forward.if the chariot charged in the rear has a slower move than that of the the charger,they are run down
ithere is no movement penalties for turning.
chariots can only move in a 90 degrees semicircle in front of them.
let the contests begin!

I dont quite get that with the chariot race, wouldnt elven or gobbo chariots always win over orc or dark elf chariots, because they are simply faster? The character in the slower chariot could attack the faster one in the first round, buth then it would just speed away and leave the other chariot behind.
I think the idea is quite cool, needs some more thought though, I think.

before I post mine, can you design your own chariot totally? or must it be an excisting chariot?
AravarGaldean - October 28, 2004 09:26 PM (GMT)
I'd have to guess that it'd be an exhisting chariot
