Just found some (not very clear, unfortunately) pictures of some models from the forthcoming sundering of the shire supplement. Enjoy!!

Could anyone going to forthcoming Gamesday events get us some better ones??

sweet, is that the 1 from the end of the return of the king (book) where the orcs attack hobbiten?
Boris the Bulletdodger - September 15, 2004 12:33 PM (GMT)
Yea Farsight, that's right. The Sundering of the Shire supplement is going to be in the same vein as the Shadow and Flame one in that it portrays a part of the LOTR story that we don't really get to see in the movie.
I can't remember their exact names now, but I know that two of the characters are set to be the Orc bully that leads them, and the farmer who Frodo was scared of in the Fellowship book. Help with the names here would be much appreciated, it seems that alcohol really does kill brain cells...!

The farmer would be ... Maggot or something like that?
I wonder how cool those hobbits will be. Dead cool or cooler?
Boris the Bulletdodger - September 15, 2004 08:13 PM (GMT)
That's right. Farmer Maggot and Sharkey and his Ruffians! hehe. I knew it would come back to me.
Also, I may have the title of the supplement wrong. The relevant Chapter in the LOTR book is called 'Scouring of the Shire'. Close...
*22, and the Alzheimer's is already setting in! Grumble, grumble*

Alzheimers.. That is the sickness which make you forget loads of things, right?
Well, wouldn't you say:
*22, and the Alzheimer's is already setting in! Grumble, grumble*
Wait, where am I?

Hehe. You are porb right! I heard a joke once:
What's worse, Parkinson's or Alzheimer's??
Alzheimer's. Becausen it's better to risk spilling some of your pint than forgetting where you left it!
That was especially humorous for me as I work in a lab investigating potential new drug targets for the treatment of Parkinson's disease! And who says scientists have no sense of humour??
Back on topic before we offend some1 or receive a beating with a Mod stick: yea, hobbit armies look really cool!
