As the prisoners were tossed around in the cage, they watched each other with careful eyes. The slavemaster's whip cracked on the back of noe unlucky prisoner who had been chosen along with others to pull the cart of "fighters". When they reached their destination they woul have to fight for their lives. The prize for this tournament was a chance to be free, but only a chance. Unlike many other arenas some of these warriors had fought in, they were conscripted to this by the evil pirate, Zarabar.

This is new arena I am running, a normal one, not like the last time where is was extremely hard to work out.

I am taking 5 players (3 spots have been reserved). The rules are:

-Points limit of 250pts
-No "Nominate one enemy character" items
-No monstrous mounts
-The player with the highest movement will count as charging.
-In the end there is going to be a suprise for the winner.

He also carries a shield, and he rides his trusty steed. The horse is white, and her barding is made of the same dark metal as her masters armour. He has pretty short brown hair, and a small beard, which incorporates a mustache.

Yes, I would've entered him if it wasn't for the fluff. I refuse to believe any druchii be captured by a human or two. Asur however, I can see why we've got a few of those already.. They're so easy :P

King and Arch-Seer, you two can fill the two reserve spots left as the people they were reserved for have made no attempt to enter even though they said they would.

As for the magic item combos and the like, aslong as your character is legal, it is ok, you can have the same items as others in the arena.

Results for Round One

Prince Calanir vs. Imrahil Endril
As the gates opened, Endril charged his fellow elf. The swift elven steed, making light work of the distance. As the two expert swordmasters clashed weapons, the crowd looked on in amazement. The two paired evenly untill Endril slighty lost his balance and Calanir got a clean strike. Endril retaliated but it was not enough to stop the long clean sweep that seperated his head from his shoulders.

Morgoth the Black vs. Duc Leon Lioniss
The Brettonian warhouse bounded out of the gates and towards the evil Elven Noble. Trampling the Fighter beneath it's hooves, the horse carried it's owner into heavy combat. The two fighters struggling to gain the upper hand the whole time. After trading many blows, the Duc found a weakness in the hellish armour and drove his sword deep into the chest of his opponent.

Chaos Lord Blackmere Redmane vs. Baron Fredrik of the Empire
The mighty general charged his opponent, mace raised high, eyes staring down his opponent. The empire fighter appeared to be filled with immense strength as he felled the evil being in one swing, crushing the helmet of his opponent, the chaos lord's head still inside.

Beastlord Shangolth vs. Thraggi Irontooth
The dwarf stood short as he prepared himself to receive the charge of the rotting being. The creature swung its weapon wildly, just wanting to draw blood, the savage bludgeoned the dwarf many times. The stout fellows warmour held untill he could cleave the beast in nearly two. The beast stood frozen for a few seconds before giving off a crude laugh. The incision just adding to the number of infected wounds across the nurgling's body. In a frenzy, the creature beat the dawrve to his heroic death.

There you have it.

Duc Leon Lioniss vs. Beastlord Shangolth
Wiping the blood of the elf from his magnificient sword, Duc Leon now prepared to face a greater evil. The foul beast stepped into the arena, his putrid body dripping filth from his wounds. Digging his armour clad heels into the flanks of his warhorse, Leon lunged forward towards the Beastlord, chanting prayers to the lady. Lifting his great Maul into the air, Shangolth slammed his fist into tyhe abdomen of the noble Brettonian, unsaddling him instantly. Lifting his Sword to deflect a blow from Shangolth, Lioniss prepared to face death. Kicking the sacred sword away with his hoof, Shangolth plunged his weapon into the Brettonian. His armour crumpled beneath the force, the man crushed between the iron. With his last breath Duc Lon muttered forgiveness from the lady, before his skull was shattered into a thousand shards by the child of Nurgle's hoof.

Semi Final 2
Prince Calanir vs. Baron Fredrik
The Elector Count reared his horse around and looked upon his skilled opponent. Once again, he charged, his Mace beginnig to glow, he would finish his enemy with one blow from the mighty weapon. Swinging low across his path, Fredrik overbalanced, his heavy armour bringing him to the ground. With a quick dodge of the weapon, the swift elf, brought his perfectly balanced halberd down onto the exposed neck of the Empire statesman.

Final Battle for Freedom
Prince Calanir vs. Beastlord Shangolth
The pirate Zarabar stood high above the arena, attempting to quite the crowd. He bellowed into the arena "Be done with your opponent and bring me his head, you may then redeam it for your freedom," The two fiercesome warriors stood, man to man, staring each other down across the sand. Kicking a cloud of dust up in front of him, Shangolth sped towards Calanir. Standing firm, the Elven warrior braced himself for the biggest fight of his life. Catching his opponent off-guard, Shangolth thrust his lowered hporns upward into the stomach of the Elven Prince. The agile being was thrown towards the outer wall. Standing proud once again, the Prince charged at the foul creature. With a great swing of his halberd, Calanir sliced open the flesh of the Nurgling, adding to the numerous, weeping wound he had sustained. The beast let out a howl of pleasure. Smashing his great hammer into the flank of the elf, the beast was forced to the ground. The wristbands of the elf glowing with as bright light, seeming to stop the hammer before it touched the flesh. Frustration to over the beast. Going into a frenzy, he slammed the hammer into the elf over and over again until there was nothing left of the elf but a bloody pulp. Approaching the great balcony on which the pirate was seated, Shangolth roared "I have finished him, let me free!" Zarabar, shook his head.
"I asked you to bring me his head, you failed, for your freedom, you must defeat me!"
"Just another hinderence for me to get over!" Zarabar turned to his assistant, "Bring me the best euipment of each of the warriors."

"Yes Sir!"

After the bloody mess of the Elven Prince was cleared from the Arena, the Pirate stepped out from his private room and descended from the balcony. Garbed in his own cloak, the armour from Chaos lord, the fluid weapon of the Dark Elf, the remains of Calanir's Vambraces and some of his own weaponry. He was a pirate after all, and he was determined not to lose.
