Title: where do you buy your lotr figs?
mumba_jumba - July 13, 2004 01:07 AM (GMT)
i trashed the historical wagaming idea (right before i bought them) when i looked at the shadow and flame supplement (especially i had an old moria army sitting around (three trolls :thumb: ) and decided to make a board for the ruined moria, i made it and it looked fit for games day! so that sealed it! and im buying a dwarf army but i cant decide where, so please help this poor young wannabe dwarf player...

Hi and welcome to LoTR
well Dwarves are pretty limited in terms of troops I suggest some warriors with a mix of weapons ( about 15-20 models, about 8 with bows) and the Khazad Guard set which provides you with elites and a hero (Balin) to lead your force, you will also need the RoTK rulebook as well as S&F

If he is buying the ROTR rulebook then he doesnt really need the Shadow and Flame supplement as all it includes extra is Balin
Why not use the Balin figure as Dwarf Lord Dain, he is awesome
gandalf - July 13, 2004 09:52 PM (GMT)
Erm because Dain has his own model, beside he already has S&F no harm done at all
