Blood Angel IV - May 30, 2004 04:35 PM (GMT)
Is it Just Fantasy? If not I could do a Blood Angel Tactica...

Prince Cal - May 31, 2004 09:00 AM (GMT)
Okay here are a couple.
Either the tale of gamers. i which some of us tell how we looked at army composition and fluff.
I would like to do a few articles called "Going Grand" in which I detail how I plan to convert an entire khorne army for next years grand tournament. I will post a list for what I am aiming to do and will not have a budget but do it at a steady pace. But this will mainly focus on modeling and painting

giles - May 31, 2004 07:05 PM (GMT)
am i gonna be compiling it again? or will it be king phes this time?

Kingphesphestus - June 1, 2004 02:04 AM (GMT)
Thats up to you Giles, I don't mind doing it but you did a good job so If you would like to do it again I see no reason why you couldn't.

Prince Caledorian either of those Ideas are fine by me, Just pick one for the moment, which is up to you.

Also I feel we should wait for Lordchillipeppa as I believe he wanted to do the tale of two gamers report to.

With the banning of rasputin there are I believe a bit of space open for this series of article, I'll be happy to do it a bit with my slayer army but If someone else would like to that is good too.

At the moment I believe it is Prince Caledorian, Lord chillipeppa and Khrangar participating in it.

As For 40K I think where trying to stick to fantasy for the moment so sorry
Blood Angel IV.

What we have:
Battle report
Article by me, What could it be, Its a surprise ;)

Stated but unconfirmed:
Tale of gamers (lordchillipeppa,Khrangar, Prince Caledorian)

Suggestions.
Storm Of Chaos Review, If anyone gets the new army book and would like to review it.

Also we need to find someone to do the Title Page for this issue, any volunteers?

Orion_the_wood_king - June 1, 2004 03:00 AM (GMT)
i would personnaly like to see a pianting guide on some aspect such as drybrushing blending etc.

Blood Angel IV - June 1, 2004 08:32 AM (GMT)
Don't Worry, I can still do something with Nurgle, Like a little Introduction...

Prince Cal - June 1, 2004 08:43 AM (GMT)
We are doing a painting guide at the moment. See tg or sir giles about it.

giles - June 1, 2004 09:26 AM (GMT)
i'd love to do it again if thats ok with all of yous. it was great fun organising it all and making it fit right etc etc so on so forth. i agree though that we should go for a few more than 17 mpages this time :P that said i was surprised by how quickly the space filled up!

when you guys are ready can we have a contenets list posted so i can chase ppl up 4 articles??? also, is TG doing the cover?? if so maybe we should keep it the same. but just changing the "including: blah blah bit?"

Maelduin ab Sardis - June 1, 2004 10:09 AM (GMT)
Well, since issue 1 stated there was going to be a follow up on other special units, I guess I'm in too ;) .

Since there have already been two articles on fast cav in WD, I guess that subject is out. Right now, I'm inclined to take a closer look at flyers, both monsters and flying units.

How do you people feel about this?

Prince Cal - June 1, 2004 10:18 AM (GMT)
I like it and think you would be good at it maelduin. We should change the cover as it would be a bit different and give more differance between each issue.

Maelduin ab Sardis - June 1, 2004 10:23 AM (GMT)
If we change the cover, let's make sure it doesn't slow down the mag like it did this time around then. The masses want mags, mylord ;) .

LordChilipepa - June 6, 2004 05:10 PM (GMT)
Tale of n Gamers - I'm still on for that. Just tell me what format woul;d be appropriate, and I'll get my part ready whenever.

How fast is this one going to be? If it's a similar timescale to issue 1, we could possibly put out a report of Conflict: London. We have three members going...

One thing on the Monsters article - great idea. My advice is to cover both flyers and groundlings like Hydras, and to include pictures. Pictures of big, well-painted models seem simple but will add to the article. Just snaffle them from the GW pages, no-one will mind ;).

Khrangar - June 6, 2004 06:31 PM (GMT)
I too am still in for A Tale of n Gamers.

Kingphesphestus - June 8, 2004 05:39 AM (GMT)
Ok heres what I got then

Kings Tomb--Me
special units-flyers--Maelduin
Tale of n Gamers-- LordChilipepa, Prince Caledorian,Khrangar.???
There is still a place open for a couple more people if anyone is interested.
Battle Report--LordChilipepa+Rasputin II

Now Im personally happy to do a review of The storm Of cHaos book if no one else would like to.

As for the Tale of N gamers I feel the best format will be for each of you to do it your own way, but to this formula( Suggestion only feel better idea please tell me.)
Fluff if any behind army
Hobby side--Painting, conversions ect
Game side--Composition what will make it stronger, any attles you may have fought with them--Though I would prefer The battles be kept small, no fancy pictures of deployment ect.

This as far as I can tell will make the issue roughly
The same size as last time

Blood ANgel IV please clarify your article idea.

As for anyother submissions I will give it to 13th June Australia For Ideas, Then we'll organise a date for submissions.

Good luck.

LordChilipepa - June 8, 2004 04:09 PM (GMT)
IMHO, we should build the armies up in blocks priced in cash, as in the original series - perhaps 30 pounds sterling an issue? We should definitely thrash this out before it comes to writing it.

Prince Cal - June 8, 2004 04:12 PM (GMT)
I like the £30 quid idea. I would mainly work on the modeling side of it.

Vriishnak the Twisted - June 8, 2004 05:33 PM (GMT)
We've always got part two of the character creation contest, too.

Khrangar - June 8, 2004 08:22 PM (GMT)

I too think that this is a good idea. Because all of us aren't in the UK, we'd have to do money conversions. For Canada, which is all I care about as I live there, it would be $50. Also, how would it work if we already have parts of the army built?

LordChilipepa - June 9, 2004 11:20 AM (GMT)
You pretend that you don't :). For example, I already have 1500pts Brets (this mag has taken longer to materialise than I thought it would). However, what I'll say in my first article will be:

"The essential part of my army is the minimum 1 unit of KotR, and a general - with this force I can start playing >500pt games, and so that's what I'll buy first..."

here in Italy £30(the cost of 2 plastic boxes in UK) are about 45 euro...anyway to buy 2 plastic boxes here you need 50 euro unless you get some discount.....
anyway 30 pounds are 75 Canadian Dollars and 55 US Dollars.....nonehteless i think seeing on the US GW site that in US 2 plastic boxes cost 60(30 each one)dollars.....

giles - June 10, 2004 07:01 PM (GMT)
couldn't you just make it two plastic box's or the equivalent cost per week??? im sure the costs are still relative, say a box = twice a certain blister or whatever? so if we work it out, then tell people the equivalent of £30s worth of models per week

Khrangar - June 10, 2004 07:38 PM (GMT)

I don't mean for this to become trivial, but when I posted, I did a currency coversion before hand and it came out to be 30 pounds is equal to 50 canadian dollars.

Xarhain - June 10, 2004 07:39 PM (GMT)
Each month each person gets the amount of money two boxed sets cost them. Simple!

Khrangar - June 10, 2004 07:44 PM (GMT)
That sounds reasonable. Would we be able to increase that for the 'first' set of purchases as we need to make it legal. For instance, just increase it so that we have enough to get 2 boxes and a hero model, just because it is the initial purchase. Whether you make the army legal or not, is up to the player.

LordChilipepa - June 10, 2004 08:10 PM (GMT)
Nah, keep it the same - Border Patrol lists require only 1 core choice, so you should be able to get a legal 500pts list in the first instalment.

Prince Cal - June 12, 2004 06:11 PM (GMT)
Just pointing out that I cannot really start khorne at the moment and so will just do the brets.

Kingphesphestus - June 16, 2004 09:04 AM (GMT)
Submissions are now Closed.
Tale of N gamers have one (1) day to decide your format amongst yourselves.

All other submittes if you could be so kind as to post an ETA on your article we can get an approximate time of release.

Maelduin ab Sardis - June 16, 2004 10:42 AM (GMT)
June 26th at the very last, probably earlier. Working title is 'air support', and it will involve all things aerial, from units of flyers to the big stuff.

Next installment will probably involve land-based monsters, but that's for issue three ;) .

Khrangar - June 25, 2004 04:37 AM (GMT)
I'm sorry, but I can't find where to send our submissions to. I would expect it to be an email but I'm not sure.

Kingphesphestus - June 25, 2004 06:19 AM (GMT)
Fair enough im assuming the formats done then if so I would like everyone to try and get there articles in by the 2nd of july.

I don't remeber the adress exactly but im sure Giles won't mind posting it as he is the one putting it together.
