Title: Warhammer Online
Description: Movie teaser

Until now, I didn't like the idea of Warhammer online. Most warhammer video games have been terrible, but then I saw that this one was amde in part by SEGA. It was a huge company, so I'm sure they must know some good tricks to make this game that much better, not to mention competetive in a year that will be full of MMO's.
On their site, they have a teaser for download. Follow the link
here.
I'm surprised about the graphics. They look better than World of Warcraft for the characters, while the envrionments aren't as good.
I think if the fighting system is good, this game just might get huge.

Wow, the game actually looks good. I also had doubts as to whether it would be a success, but wow! The graphics are great, and it just looks... great! Then again, if you have to pay monthly, count me out.

In my eyes there are only going to be two real competitors for the top MMO, that would be World Of Warcraft and the Matrix Online (also has sega working on it).

I'm not completely sure what you mean by MMO but if its like a large environment online where you can interact with other characters then www.Runescape.com is a large one.

I watched the movie...and...*glarlge*
I liked. Mucho liked. A pity you'll have to pay monthly- were it free, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

I believe Legan was referring to the term "MMO RPG", which stands (I think) for Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Play Game. Finalf Fantasy 11 falls into this category, as does Ultima Online. Thousands of players from all over the world all playing in the same game world: it sounds cool, but the game is bound to have monthly subscription fees which is something I am not prepared to pay to play a game I have brought!
Cheers,
DLJ

Pay by the month does suck, but it also pays the designers wages, who constantly add stuff, like new locales, new monsters, new weapons, new spells, new everything
But it still sucks to subscribe, think of it as a magazine, a very nice magazine

The designers are payed by the game sales, and maybe a little bit by the monthly fees. The monthly payments are mostly for serve maintenance. MMOs tend to use very good servers, and those servers are used only for the one game. I might be willing to pay for it...but there are so many good MMos coming out now that I don't know if Warhammer would be my choice.
