Title: army list???

mumba_jumba - May 15, 2004 10:29 AM (GMT)
does anyone know of a C.D. army list online, i have the one from the website, but is there another one???

Benedictus - May 15, 2004 11:04 AM (GMT)
The only official army list is that from Ravening Hordes; the one from the GW website.

mumba_jumba - May 15, 2004 10:17 PM (GMT)
are they allowed to take orc and gobbo units???, i read somewhere that they could

Benedictus - May 15, 2004 11:27 PM (GMT)
Yes, as Special choices. They may also take 0-1 Black Orc regiment.

You use the statistics and points cost (I think) of them from the O&G rulebook.

mumba_jumba - May 16, 2004 10:11 AM (GMT)
so you couldhave trolls or just the actual orcs and gobos

Benedictus - May 16, 2004 01:07 PM (GMT)
Only the regular orcs and goblins. For more infomation on Chaos Dwarves, try here.

The site includes CD dedicated forums, home-made army lists, the Ravening Hordes list and conversion ideas.

Actually its orcs and hobgoblins.
You can take as many hobgoblin units as you want, but they dont count as core choices.
Then I think you may only take infantry. And no night gobbos, squicks, trolls, snotlings etc.

Benedictus - May 16, 2004 02:58 PM (GMT)
Exactly. I was talking about units from the O&G list- they don't have hobgoblins. Hobgoblins are in the CD list, and it's obvious you can take them. I said you can only take regular orcs and regular goblins, so it's pretty obvious I meant no snotlings, etc.

Also, hobgoblins are core choices- they just don't count towards the minimum core choices you must take.

Please don't raise the dead needlessly. Next time, I will report you,

Goblit Skullhelm - December 2, 2004 07:48 PM (GMT)
Cal, he's only been here for 3 days. He probably has no idea what necromancy is - after all, it isn't even in the site rules. It's VERY harsh to say "I'm gonna report you if you step out of line, bla bla bla, fear my almighty modding powers."

It would be a lot fairer and more welcoming to say:
"At this site, we have a rule where if a topic has not been posted in for over a month it is considered closed, and people are not supposed to post in it. This is called necromancy. We have this rule so that the boards do not get clogged up with the same topic over and over again. Thank you, and welcome to the site."

Man, you really do want orcs and gobbos. The fact that I am an mod is really not on topic when it omes to reproting necromancy. Also, he was also spamming and if he read the boardrules like you are told to he would have known.

Even if it's not, chances are he didn't even know about necromancy. I'm just saying that it was a bit harsh.

Eh? What've orcs and gobbos got to do with anything? I was just pointing out that it was a tad harsh, that's all.

You didn't tell him off for spamming though, you told him "please don't raise the dead needlessly." He probably read that and had no idea what you were talking about.

well he might, but quite a lot of people try to be freindly towards the newer members. Also, not many people notice the "board rules" at the top of the screen, and when they do see it it dosen't exactly tell them much.

Okay, credit where it's due, I just read this in the HE forum:

Maxwell, first of all welcome to the site. But I will say what you have just dine would normally be called necromancy. This is when you reply to a topic which has not been replied to in the last 28 days. But as your comment is very well written you are let off, but please remember what I have told you.

See, that's exactly what I was hoping you'd say: that way everyone stays friends, and we all live in a happy little world with magical mushrooms and pink flowers...
