I am working on the front cover of the magazine however I'm not sure on the list of what is going to be in the magazine and the order it is in.

Giles did the contents already, that looks awesome though, but you don't have to worry about the contents, besides that looks great :D

The prediction is later on Tomorrow if everything goes well if not that then it will be on Thursday as there are the two days i have available though it should be done by tomorrow if there isn't any problems such as wrong typeface or anything needing to be resized

:mellow: Hmmm... I personally think it might be a good idea to include 1 or two pictures, and the text to be smaller and more to the right/left. Basically, that back drop (Slightly more of a form in the door) with a reduced pic of a battle in progress (or a mini) with the contents under that.

'Ogre' is spelled wrong, and it should be 'much more' instead of 'many more'. Aside from that, it looks good.

I mean, I made these two (wondering whether Tombguard would ever finish, and also thinking they might be useful for the next one) in about 15 minutes:

If either of those use pictures not created by you its against the rules to use .

If you did draw those yourself Bravo is all I can say.

The pics are taken from GW wallpapers, which they make freely available for public download with no written stipulations. As far as I'm aware, that's not an infringement of copyright unless we try to make money out of it.

the infringement occurs when you modify them, something to do with there intellectual property or something, quite frankly
i dought they would care as you say we aren't makeing money with them.

Seen them and they are very good. Maybe you should do some warhammer ones and put them in the magazine for some fun :D :D

a suggestion for tombguard's design, is maybe make the "The Palace Herald" stand out abit more, since it blends in with the contents of the magazine too much, in my view

Do you want to make it more generic and well ue the same cover for each issue or should we have a different one each issue.

The one there is fine for issue one, can you email it to giles if it is not to big?

I would go for different ones for different issues. Just looks different which I think will help.

different ones each issue would be better :-D also i will email it on Monday as I forgot to save a copy for sending so i will send it at college

the only problem with different ones for eacgh issue is that we fall in to what happened here for the first one.

Since you can't really do the mag without the cover if thats late the whole mag will be whereas if its just an article you can just omit it for that issue, see what I mean?

That is why we should build up a backbone of covers and then just add the final details when needed.

Tomb Guard, if you wanna send the basic picture of the warrior my way, I could give you a better background for the picture and a nice text to go across it.

Yes I agree though the lateness was my fault, I tried to take too much aboard at the same time and failed miserable and due to that the next cover shall be designed by Rogue-Trader shall he accept this responseablity, if should not accept maybe someone else can step in.

So when can we get the issue.

Just waiting on giles combining it all together and it should be available soon.

Just out of curiousity, I was kinda curious to who Rogue-Trader was. If you are talking about me (Since I see no one else with the prefix of Rogue in their name), I would be happy to take the responsibility. But know this- I can make much better designs, texts, and backgrounds than I can actual objects such as warriors and mages in photoshop (though I can make a decent sword), and thus if you guys wished to contribute art for the foreground, I would be happy to use that as a basis for the cover art. I would just need to know when this cover would have to be ready by.
