2. what format, pdf, html, on board closed topic ect
3. layout Ideas, eg battle reports, articles so on
4 how muh work you can do on it, do you know html or pdf documents have you got time with school
5. what would you be good at, eg if your really good at puntuation then prehaps you can do proof reading ect.

I figure it should have 5-10 pages or so depending on what is in it. We should do it monthly or every 2 weeks or something like that. There should be a battle report and maybe a 'tale or 4 gamers' style article in it for those who are just starting out in the hobby to give them an idea as to what to get. I think that a pdf file would be good as everyone can read it.

I can do stories or editing since bad grammar/spelling is a pet peeve of mine. The name should have something to do with a palace.

We most likely need a name and a front page bearing in mind PDF and html are needed to doing this sort of thing.

A closed topic, hmmm thinking about that but that means we currently have to re-open the topic when we have something else to post unless Moonshadow posts it (since admin can reply to closed topics)

The worrying thing about PDF is that some computer crash we trying to opening it but it does have it advancetages, Downloadable and Dependable.

Html, I haven't got the knowledge yet off doing html but I have the skills of working with Graphics incase of drawings need or a front page, I would gladly work on it.

note.. this will be done in a Illustrator package or
Photoshop not on paper.

Well Ideas I can think of to run in this Magazine.

Things already used, Starting Undead ( as made by DLJ ) starting High Elves and Dark Elves as posted by Maelduin and Vriishnak respectively and finally Ulrik's Dwarves.

Then there can be Fluff based on the Warhammer world (also featuring the Create a special character) what I held ages ago.

Sounds good. Maybe re-opening the create-a-character thing, or having a second round, then using this as a means to draw votes for it?

After that, maybe a battle report, summary of the decisions on rules questions that have been asked, and maybe general tactics discussions.

We could also run a character only battle as what Gw is doing also based on characters used in warhammer in which after collecting gold and such can purchase more troops and then it ends as skirmishing <Battle report Style not an Rpg>

just pick an Hero and play against your local Players.

Also I like the idea Vriishnak had made with the players insight and rules debate, though we need to be careful not to cross the line too much and infurate Gw in anyway.

Well P&M articles are practically out as this site deals with all the armies and games P&M will be impossible as know one will care.

I also see a problem in who is going to read it? I recon aside from us (the writers) there will only be about 10 readers, which seems to me to make this thing not worth doing.

Lastly I would prefer that the writing of this ting to part on hidden boards on this site as to behonest I can't be asked to joina new site and then be checking twice as many sites. It would just be easier to do it here, on this site, as that is who its for.

i like the msn idea, maybe all the writers could also get together and discuss what shld be included??

Pdf seems to be the poison of choice, but keep in mind not all can read these

Though a few ideas for long term articles have been put forward, the tales of four gamers style one and the msn debate one article has also been promised for first issue, about skirmishers, and everyone agrees there should be a battle report.

At the moment we have a few people who say they can do tons of work and we also have someone who says in a few months he will have some free time so there should always be some members available to work on it :D

Ok We have several people willing to check puntuation ect so I figure what we can do is have each of them check one article to save time as there are at least three willing to do it this could cut down on time dramatically.
There is also some one who can do pdf's beside me-Yay- Im gonna talk to him about it a bit later. Also Tombguard says he can do the illustrations So he can be our art guy, if he agrees of course



So thats about it for now Any more ideas pleas post them, tommorrow i'll post another message about the first issue.

As far as I can tell whre pretty much all set all thats left to do is decide on a title and How often it should be done.

I wouldn't use this one for a title since I find that abit race specific.

Just to point out Acrobat Reader or maybe it's called Adobe Read is free for anyone to download from their home site. With it you can read pdf.

Regarding a name perhaps something like Scribe's Tale.

I really like both these names although I think the royal scribe is proberbly better. It fits the palace theme really well, whilst not being race specific.

Lastly, king whats your problem? Can I have a straight answere? Why am I not confirmed?

Why not the Halls of Knowledge, am not 100% on the Jester one or the Royal Scribe.

I will freely intervene on this topic and the other two even though am not taking part.

i like the idea of royal tome, although it sounds a bit too much like its old, not new exciting news! (lol)

Well most of the news in the views of Gw anyway would be old news :-P

What about the 'Palace Herald' or the 'Palace Times'?

They both fit the theme, and the reference to modern-day newspapers will give an idea of what to expect.

Are we really wanting to base ourselves on a newspaper??

I would just like to point out that basically everyone that replied to my initial request for info (thats everyone who signed up but vrishnaak) Said that it should have palace in the title.

What I'd like is for each person signed up to Pm me one title, then i'll make a poll for us all to vote on, how does this sound?

Also we need to decide how often to do it will it be weekly bi-weekly, monthly ect.

I think monthly would be often enough so that people can get there articles in and also it wouldn't seem like forever for the next update.

Monthly is proberbly the best idea. Any less and it will feel like a rush for those making it and it would proberbly be a tad thin on the ground if you catch my drift.
