The fair-sized arena was surrounded by canvas, with seats on one side of it, weapons and training facilities on the other, and the empty space of packed dirt in the centre, separated into three areas by more canvas. The entrance led directly into the now-decrepit fence surrounding the arena.

Gorgan's eyes and mind were bewildered with the manical spectacle of feral furry that was unfolding in the training area before him and his mind and eyes marvelled in every momment of it.

He looked off for a moment, only briefly to see and get a better look at just who this person was and what they looked like before his attention was quickly drawn back upon the sparring.

Gorgan could not believe the ferocity they unleashed upon each other even in training. It was all becoming very clear to Gorgan why the menchwa lived tot he reputation as strong powerful warriors and none to be taken lightly either. Any race that would train witht he same passion and ferocity as in a fight to their death was definately a force to be reckoned with. Their excel as warriors was proving to be much in their attitude towards what may very well be routine training.

Marius made his way over towards the elf and stood close to him yet faced away, looking intently upon the menchwa. He certainly noticed a few things in thier fight that he noted in his head and stored there, sometimes you just don't know when it could come in handy.

Gorgan looked to Marius, looking him over more carefully and takin in his appearance and presence more so now that he was right beside him. Gorgan observed how this man as well was captivated by the menchwa method and intensity of training and that Gorgan could see as a common grounds.

Gorgan nodded to Marius in acknowledgement of his presence beofre once more fixing his gaze and attention upon the two menchwa, curious as to what the results of the spar would be.

'This is not my first time witnessing the Menchwa fight, It is something impressive.' Marius looked towards Gorgan, 'Do not take thier claws lightly, they are as sharp as any blade known to man, elf or dwarf.' Marius turnned his attention back towards the battling Menchwa.

Standing 6'6" and dressed all in black his form seemed to grow even more, strapped to his back were twin broad swords and another smaller blade hung from his waist. His cowl was down to reveal Crimson hair tied back in a single braid. His eyes seemed almost to glow a light blue, although this was most deffinatly not cast off any other source, at least none near them.

Yes, even in trainning they will fight to the death, battle is an honor; and taken none to lightly by them. Marius spoke to Gorgan through esprie's gifts, then removed his presence from the other's mind.

The menchwa battled fiercely, spots of blood staining their whitish coats of fur from a slash pulled too late. Still, this did nothing to faze the two combatants as they wrestled and clawed their way through the fight. Finally one of them, the smaller of the two, took a stumble on the uneven ground. The larger grabbed his head in his arm and drove him to the ground, smashing the other's head into the hard-packed earth.

Both of them got up, the larger menchwa much faster than the smaller defeated one, and both performed the menchwa's signature sign of respect: the nod and grunt. They both turned and noticed the two other creatures near them in unison, each turning to each other for a moment in curiosity before turning back to Gorgan and Marius and nodding and grunting again.

Gorgan's attention turned keenly to Marius as he spoke of the menchwa and the stregth and prowess they held with even the most primitive form of combat and not a weapon in hand.

I see i'm not the only one with high-regards to the menchwa people. Gorgan thought as he took in what Marius had said to him, as he continued to watch the menchwa tare at each other.

Claws as lethal as any blade.. Gorgan thought collectively, looking upon his own rather grown and dirty nails, though dull and nowhere near having the same threat as that of a menchwas They no only possess natural brute strength but natural weapons matching that we would make ourselves, what a great asset such a thing must be.

As Marius tapped into Gorgan's mind and planted his words there his face, eyes and attention snapped immediately to face Marius with a look of surprise upon his face If he can place words in my head without speaking...then does he read my thoughts as well? Gorgan looked upon Marius with a look of awed suspscion. Gorgan wasn't one to enjoy his mind being read, as much of his thinking stayed there, as thinking to himself was a frequent thing, keeping things in thought but not in speech often; this gift of Marius would violate Gorgan's safety of chosing his words before saying them. He would now have to watch what thoughts he let run the corridors of his mind as well now.

As the battle came to it's conclusion Gorgan half-quivered at the sight of the impact the menchwa took that ended the fight. Gorgan could not help but think how he would not have gotten up half as quick if he was delivered such a strong blow.

Though the site of such a hard won fight and the intensity of it all made Gorgan's mind and body itch to spar off with someone himself, one of the menchwa taking his first interest and then thinking upon challenging Marius

Gorgan nodded in return to the menchwa's gretting out of respect "Good fight" Gorgan commented shortly to the two menchwa at start "Which one of you would happen to be Memnir?" Gorgan inquired curiously, having just recalled why he was first sent in this direction

Marius nodded and released an grunt as well to both menchwa. Marius stretched forth his mind and linked it that of the two Menchwa, sending forth images of the town in shambles as it was when he first showed up then of his personal memories from building the house, finally he an image of himself standing in the middle of the fighting area with both the menchwa holding tools of construction (not war).

(trying to convey that I want to help them if they need help)

The two menchwa could not understand Common very well, as was obvious by the confused looks on their faces when Gorgan spoke, but they knew Marius and his mind tricks fairly well, and were surprisingly not afraid of them. They mentally thanked Marius for his offer. As for Gorgan, the confused looks left their faces at the name of Memnir. The smaller menchwa, looking slightly dazed from his battle stepped forward and grunted. "I Memnir. What need?"

Gorgan couldn't figure out what it was he had said that got him strange confused glances, the menchwa he had met that have been called the lost ones understood him well, perhaps the menchwa of Harl were just dumber then the others Gorgan questioned mentally until his mind was relieved by the answer he had looked for.

"Elders sent me to find you. For place to sleep and before feast to be held tonight for me bringing news of the lost ones."

Memnir smiled, baring his fearsome teeth. "Ah, you bring news of Lost Ones. Whole village knows. We in great....owing to you. Please, follow me." He looked to Marius and nodded. "You too. We find sleeping place for tall mind-talker." He headed off expecting the two to follow.

Gorgan was a bit curious as to the pause in the menchwa's reply of them owing him as his left eyebrow raised slightly in skeptic curiousity. Gorgan was getting a strange feeling thing were happening in Harl that he was not yet aware of.

The welcoming was all the same but the atmosphere of Harl felt different from that of the other menchwa camp he had been in.Harl's atmosphere was not as relxaed, and a feeling of tension floated in the air and Gorgan's mind was becoming gradually uneasy.

Trying to brush the feeling of Gorgan looked to Marius briefly to see what his decision and response would be, before following Memnir silently.

Marius picked up his things and raised the cowl from his robe, standing tall and dressed in black the tall man made his way after the menchwa, saying nothing and looking towards none other than the beast who had spoke to him.

Memnir led them to a large tent made of a simple blue cloth. It was the largest they had seen so far. Inside were six human-sized piles of straw on the ground. Marius would have some trouble fitting in them comfortably, but he would manage. For Gorgan, there would be no problem. Memnir nodded to the two visitors. "Memnir will call winged one and mindtalker when feast ready. Rest now."

Gorgan nodded as the menchwa instructed them to rest for the time being, he was grateful that the menchwa had taken to see to such arrangments for their rest and that they had chosen sucha larger tent the the rest for them. Gorgan thanked the menchwa then made his way over to the arrangement of straw to his right and sat down upon it with a slump, putting his hands back behind them and bracing his weight and posture back upon them as he stretched out his legs.

As he sat there he looked about the tent more intently and then looked to Marius when the menchwa had departed "How long have you been in this encampment?" Gorgan inquired, he was curious to know because Marius seemed well aquainted witht he menchwa way of life.

Marius sat down upon one of the piles of straw and folded his legs beneith himself.

I have been to this encampment once before, the wars and battles had not taken away so many menchwa when i was here last. Now i am here to help the people as well as to learn more of thier ways then i did previously.

Gorgan was beginning to become unsettled with Marius' presence. Gorgan didn't mind Marius himself but his gift of getting into his mind was begging to become unerving. Nothing felt scared and private around this being and he could at any time have anything thrown into his mind when he would rather not.

Gorgan tried to not think about it so much as he did not wish for it to become readable if Marius was trying to read Gorgan's thoughts at all.

"I'm guessing these wars and battles you speak of is what I will be learning about today at the feast before I help them search for the lost ones." Gorgan looke dto the entrance of the tent, in his mind wainting for someone to enter.
