Hello everyone. Glad to make it to the boards. :)

I'm Ed, a 19 year old college student who tends to be opinionated but open minded. Just wanted to say that I'm probably going to be here for the long haul, since I like to rant a lot about random things. Life in general can be summed up in one word. Pointless. We live. We die. That's it. That's my mentality about life, about everything that goes on. What happens between those points is irrelevant and generally in vain. Crud, I'm ranting already. Didn't mean to, sorry. :(

I play the guitar, bass, trumpet, drums, clarinet, sax, and a little bit of the piano. I love writing music and lyrics to go with them. To me, good music is probably the only timeless, truly immortal aspect of the human race, and a person's lifespan. I also play rhythm guitar and am the lead vocalist for my band, Desperate Measures. We've disbanded two years ago compliments of my drummer, who moved to California to go to college.

I'm also a computer nerd, geek, or whatever you'd like to call me. I enjoy programming. I'm going to school to learn to create video games. Meh, only somewhat cool... nothing major. :( Oh well.

For the more shallow person who's probably reading this, wondering, "So what's he look like?" I'm 6'1" tall, 185 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, and looks that could kill. Literally. Heart attack from fright, much?
