So, who saw/read this? It's my favorite anime! I have the whole series, plus the OVA. I yet need to see the movie. I also read the manga volumes 1,2,15,16 and parts of 17,18 and 19. ^^
Favorite characters: Shiro Kamui, Kishy Arashi, Kasumi Karen, Nekoi Yuzuriha, Sumeragi Subaru, Satsuki, Kigai Yuuto, Sakurazuka Seishiro and Hinoto.
Favorite pairings: Subaru/Seishiro, Kamui/Subaru, Yuzuriha/Kusanagi, Yuzuriha/Kamui and Arashi/Sorata.

I've read the first...3 volumes, I find the plot quite slow and confusing, but it gets better so I've heard ^^
Fave Characters: Arashi, Hinoto, Kotori and Kamui
Fave Pairings: Haven't really read much but...Sorata and Arashi definately spring to mind.

It's so hard to find hardcore fans of this series, I only know 2 people who really are including you now ^^. Yaoi fangirls indeed, yes, but CLAMP has a lot of yaoi hints in basicly every series they make O.o;;. So it's not just us. I'd wish they'd hurry up finishing the manga series though, they only have 2 more volumes to do but didn't publish anything for more than 2 years.

nyaa, i haven't seen or read much of X/1999. but it's simply a great anime/manga. the artwork is daring and very sexy. ;]

I have the manga up to the 7th volume and I read up to the 9th. I like it a lot ^^ I think my friend had the movie, so I may watch it someday.
At the beginning I just thought there was a lot of unecessary vilence, but then you get used to it ^^;;

It's an angst filled series. So if you like angst and yaoi then this is the series for you. *thinks about how fuuma tortures kamui all the time*

I agree, those are main themes in it. Although with yaoi I have more of Seishiro and Subaru in mind ^.~. They had a whole episode and manga volume dedicated to them! It was so kawaii! ^.^

I have an yaoi-crazy friend and she loves it, she got frustrated after the third almost-kiss between Fuuma and Kamui.... she's crazy to see them kissing xDD
