Has anybody here watched Wolf's Rain? Because I think I'm in love with it. ^^

Mm, wolf's rain. I;ve watched a couple of episodes, but i really loved the art!! *_* it's so pretty. And the music is quite nice too.

My friend is totally obsessed with this show, so she made me watch it. I like that show. It's really good. The music is beautiful, esp. Gravity!

I love wolf's rain!!!!
It must have something to do with Shaoran... the "little wolf"

~Might contain spoilers from... 6th episode on?~

Ne, Tori-san, don't you think it's weird that in Wolf's Rain they talk about wolves being attracted to blossoms and that CLAMP puts S&S as soulmates if Sakura means 'cherry -blossom-' and Shaoran means 'little -wolf-'???
Just a thought... ^^;

Umidori - January 3, 2005 10:36 PM (GMT)
Yes, the music is really beautiful! ^^ (of course, being Yoko Kanno's work, it couldn't be anything but beautiful! ^^) The two OSTs are what I am listening to most of the time. ^^;;
And the art is really beautiful, too. I don't think I've ever seen an anime so consistently well-drawn.

And wow, Sakura-san, you're right! It is a very interesting coincidence! On the other hand, as Yuuko-san says, there are no coincidences, only Fate - maybe it was Fate that destinied those two series for greatness?..
Or maybe it's just common in Japan to associate wolves with flowers. ^^;;;
But it is easy to see similarities between Cheza's and Sakura-chan's personalities, don't you think? Both are very natural and spontaneous. Only Cheza, being the flower of the Moon, has some of Yue's traits too, like her "otherworldliness". ^^

SakuraKP - January 6, 2005 05:39 AM (GMT)
Un, I do think Cheza is somewhat like Sakura-san. Both are so innocent too.
And the wolves seem to bear some of Shaoran-kun' personalities, sometimes grumpy, others just looking for Sakura, trying to please her, admiring her smile, protecting her and all... I know you'd rether Skura and Tooyo, but that's just the way I see it. My cousin said I was conspiring too much :ayashi:
But the flower and wolf thin intrigue me. oo;

Umidori - January 6, 2005 10:36 PM (GMT)
Actualy, yes, I think the wolves do act a bit like Shaoran. ^^ But also a bit like Tomoyo-hime, Touya, Yukito, Yue, Eriol, and anyone who has ever cared about Sakura-chan. ^^ I don't think you conspire too much, by the way. Conspiracies are fun! ^^

By the way: you do know that the language they use for writing in Wolf's Rain is Russian, right? Anyway, there was a shop called "Freeloader" (well, the word means "somebody who lives on others' expense" ^^; ) there. I wonder who'd call their shop something like that. ^^;;

SakuraKP - January 18, 2005 08:55 PM (GMT)
Hahahaha, that sounds fun!
No, I didn`t know it was russian. that`s interesting!! I got a friend who loves Russian. I know there's a song there called "Coração Valente" (Brave Heart), it`s a Brazilian Bossa Nova, written by Yokko Kano (it`s been a decade since I last wrote this name... is it spelled right?). Unfortunatelly I never heard it :sad: .Or I didn and didn`t pay attention ><

I thought the store name was funny anyways... I think they just wanted to make fun of it ^^;; Or it`s a cretive critic to the capitalism oo;
