Notes: The nova class starship was originaly designed to replace the oberth as the primary science vessel, but since the begining of the second dominion war the Nova class starship has been refitted for heavier combat scenarios. The U.S.S. Nova is at DS9 waiting for her 2 year overhaul to be completed. Also during her most recent scirmish her captain was killed, her first officer has also now been reassigned. Commander trip tucker has now been promoted to Captain and assigned to the newly reffited Nova. Among her upgrades were: quantum torpedoes, a bigger warp core, a more powerful superstructure, phaser upgrades, impulse upgrades, and newer shuttle craft.

The 2nd Dominion war: The dominion are at it again. They emerged from the worm hole with a fleet of warships and soon moved out of DS9's sensor range they took the crippled klingons by surprise(the klingons were crippled because of the recent Klingon-Romulan war the federation decided not to get involved) so there operating off qo'nos and other old Klingon worlds. Another new tactic the dominion is employing is stolen Klingon cloaking devices, and ships. So any federation ship that grabs a cloaking device is authorized to use it.
