Greetings to all
Equipment is G3 desktop 300mhz/196ram
Out of the blue I went to start up Acrobat
reader 5.1 to read a document, and an
alert message came up saying that the
program had unexpectedly quit due to a
type 3 error. Up to this point the application had worked fine.
Thinking it might be an
extention problem I tried to eliminate the
problem that way with no luck. (I must admit that I did not go very far
with this trouble shooting) I trashed the
program and downloaded a new copy,
still the same problem. Finally trashed
that copy and installed version 4 and it
works fine. Anyone have any clues.
Thanks in Advance
Scruff
Welcome to the Mac forum!!!
Try trashing the prefs files, then reboot, they should be rebuilt.
[NOTE:] I'm moving your topic to the Genius Bar since this is the forum for Apple's .Mac [idisk] web hosting service.
