iSight inSights 2

Forget everything good I ever said about iSight and iChat AV. It's worthless. It all went kaput. My G5 can't see the iSight camera at all. It came with 10.2.7 installed on it and the iSight mic won't show up in the sound panel. Nobody can hear me when I ring up for a chat. That's pretty annoying. So I tried in on a PowerBook. The mic shows up in the sound preferences but the video freezes up every time I accept a chat invitation. It seems as if the new gear is behind the times. I was liking that too. Darn! Right now my iSight is out of sight- in a bag in my junk drawer. Maybe when panther strikes I'll try again. [powerbook]

Did you bother to tell Apple Care? (1-800-275-2273) and see what they say, they may know a fix, [wispers]that or you could pirate a beta build of 10.3.(don't tell anyone)[/wispers]

yea, If you use aquisition you can find pirate copies of the Panther Beta.
