I have moved the topic to the iMac forum. It was posted in the user contributed tips and answers forum, which you don't have posting permissions to.
I am going to repair the permissions.

Thank You for bring this to my attention. This user has not registered, and that means guest posting is on. I will turn guest posting off. We do this to encourage users to register. The only place guest posting is on is the guest forum.

OK, this is weird. Guest posting was not on, and unless Shadowlord banned this user, he managed to post without registering. (UPDATE: No, shadowlord didn't ban him, I checked.) I will address this problem.

No the guest posting was on for the User Contri.... forum. Which I have now fixed. The permission table made very little sence, but I have fixed it all now.

You & I are both right. I checked the guests group's permissions, and posting was on. I turned it off. YOU turned it off in the "Contributed" forum.
