This is from a friend of mine on the DSLR boards:

Duo, I just visited your Mac forum site and want to comment. It's nicely written and has great potential, but... Not all of us have young eyes or 20/20 vision. I can't see the black text on the slate gray background to read it so there is no reason for me to join your group -- but I'll cheer you on from the sidelines. It's a great idea. As an aside, tests have proven the most readable page is black text on a white background. Next to this, any light colored background is preferable to a dark one. Look around the forums at dslr. My neigbor painted landscapes and he was good at it even though he was color blind. In reality he could not see blue, red, green or yellow. He drove a car by observing other drivers. Good luck with your site. If you ever change the colors let me know and I"ll be a willing participant. Thanks for listening!

While I like our current color scheme I think that He's right and that we could use a more sight impared version for the older crowd.
So, what do you suggest......should I make the text bigger, should I put the whole forum in bold......? I'll look for another skin, but I like this one. :) B)
P.S.
Please tell your friend Thanks for the comments.
Is there a seccond skin that the users could choose from in their control pannels? If not we should sugest it to the I.F. team to see what they have to say.

Yeah, currently, there is. But, I can't change the options they have in their user CP.
I'll work on this.
My eyes are 57 years old and I have been wearing glasses since I was 40 and I work in graphics every day. I don't have any trouble reading the black on the slate gray. I really don't think you need to change the color or the typesize either since one can change the typesize to ones personal taste in the Safari preferences. Just my 2 cents.
