I am giving up on learning Final Cut Express for a while. It's going to the back burner. It is just too sophisticated and too complicated. There isn't anything easy about it at all. It's like over the top with features. I have bought 3 books on how to edit in the program and I can't get to first base with any of them. I did get a short segment edited but I could't figure how to get a fade in from black or a fade out to black. I guess iMovie will do for me until the next time I want to torture myself.

Really? I didn't know it was hard. Then again, I don't own it. I guess it depends what you use it for. Maybe I can find some "FCE For dummies" docs that you can read. (No offense meant about the dummies part.)
