Title: Final Cut Express
Description: No Audio in Playback

I am learning how to edit in Final Cut Express. I have just received Tom Wolsky's book and so far, it's OK. I think I am getting somewhere. I must say that Final Cut Express is a whole different world than iMovie; which now seems like a kids toy.

Problem is though, there's no audio in the playback. After I capture the video, right there in the capture window, the audio plays fine but as soon as I close the window to move the clip to the time line or the browser, the audio goes away--bye bye.

I read the FAQs on the apple site and there are directions to click a certain button in the View thing up top but that did not help. Drat..there's always something.

Well -- my new copy of Final Cut Express was an OLD VERSION. Go figure. Tom Wolsky himself answered my question and suggested I upgrade. I did and presto! It works now. Thanks and more thanks for that fix.

Great. (Sorry, I don't have an FCE icon. )

Mr Sysops Sir,

I screen shot the FCE Logo and posted it in two formats to my public site for you to use if you want to. No obligation of course but they are there--by they I mean a jpg and a pdf version of the logo. Folder

That's great. I'd need the .jpg version. But, I think it's a little too large. Maybe I can find a smaller version.
Thank You.
The Sysop (or one of them)

Here is the smaller logo you need. It is (in inches) .62x.5 and it is a jpg. It's Logo#2 there in the list.
