I am currently using Photoshop Elements 2 on a Pentium3 750Mhz.Verry very slow and cumbersome I have been told that an E-Mac would give me much better performance. If so which model would be best for manipulating 40Mb TIFF files?

Well the top eMac Model is the one with 1Ghz G4. I have only used the 700 model. It was allright, but the ones I use lacked a certain powerful feeling. Mind you, that was most likely because of the setup.

If you but the 1Ghz model, properly set up on jaguar, You should have no trouble at all.

You can look at the Apple website and look at the G4 myth's and specs compared to the Pentium. They did a whole bunch of G4 vs P4 tests, and the G4 went miles past the P4.

Also, you might want to take a look here

Good Luck!
