Title: A Story Of Success

Sysop - July 1, 2003 10:58 PM (GMT)
Thought I'd share my story with you:
I had 2 Dell computers. A desktop and a laptop. I wanted to setup a wireless network. It took me HOURS. I had to do all sorts of stuff, like "Cloning the MAC Address". I don't even know what that means ( ). So, I finally get them networked. Then, about 5 months later, I go out and buy myself a brand new, 15in, PowerBook. It automatically found the network, and connected to it. I opened I.E. and started surfing the web. What did I do to network my PB? NOTHING!
Part 2:
When I bought my PB, I got a free Cannon i450 printer. I plugged it in, and went to File--Print. It started printing. I have one word for you. WONDERFUL!
Part 3, the end:
It took 10minutes to setup, including startup, Mac OS X setup, and everything else.
[happy happy happy]

Yes... Mac's JUST WORK.
ONE of my stories...
I have the only Mac in my office of 12 PC's. Whenever something doesn't work on the PC's... everyone comes to me to get it done. The kicker... I'm running an ancient old 6500.... the rest of the office is all brand new PC's.
