it is saying the mac is flawless and doesnt crash.. this is untrue. in my experience with maciintosh computers, have had many errors and freeze-ups. but a computer only works as well as it is maintained, so they are lying by saying those things..
now another thing that bugs me about macs.. it seems that it is completely focusing on new hardware and software, on no of the newest models do i see a floppy drive, something that is comonly found in computers, and sometimes essential when moving files. and then, almost all macs i see are one piece computers. i have only seen 1 model that is 2 pieces. what do i have against 1 piece machines? basically because it barely has any space to upgrade, and what happens when the moniter burns out? i know there is a low chance of that happening but it has. and then there is the OS, i dont really have anything against the operating system macs have, im just used to different ones, the only bad thing i see about it is that it seems un-organized to me..
but i didnt come here to start a flame or anytihng, im just trying to get the views of the other side.. to each his own i guess

p.s.: why has the option to right-click ( or however you do that on a mac) been disabled? it is verry simple to get around that obstical.

I'm not sure where that link took you, but I'll say a few words.
When you say "my experiance", my guess is that this is with Mac OS 9 or earlier. I agree in saying that yes, Mac OS 9 froze so much for me.
However, When I switched to Mac OS X, things changed drematicly. I have had Mac OS X since it was in Beta form, and I haven't had a crash since. Even on my old flimsy iBook. It even makes my lower end machine seem like new! It's great. Also, If you don't have much RAM, Mac OS X adjusts automaticly and divides the RAM into portions for each piece of software used.
Floopy drives?
yes, well, thats old technology. I have a floppy drive sitting on my desk and I haven't used it in 3 years.
You should also take a look at the specs on the G5, compared to other PC machines.

OK, Koyuga,
1. Floppy drives: If you really need one, you can buy one. VST Sells them. But I just burn CDS.
2. Now, I'm not saying this to make you mad or anything, but my Powerbook has never crashed.
3. About the 2 piece thing: Most people like that, because it's compact. if you needed to replace, the monitor, I hope you have Applecare.
4. The mac is not "flawless". You're right. Nothing is.
5. OS X is very user-friendly. It'd be hard to damage the system files.
6. OS 9 will freeze. That's what OS 9 does!!!
7. The new Powermac G5( [G5} ) Is the fastest computer in the world.

I discovered another thing different between 9 and X:
In OS9 you can change the name of the system folder without any problems.
However, If you change the system name (OSX system folder), The computer will not start up. It will have kernel Panics, you name it.

I just bought an Imac OS X 10.1 lat week and am ready to return it. I have not been able to do the only things I wanted:
1. Video chat with Mircrosoft Messenger users
2. Organize 3,000 mp3 songs I have. I can currently play them using the Itunes, however as there is only the name of the song in the tag, I cannot index by artist or genre. All my music was organized in MusicMatch (MM) in my old PC and the mac version of MM don't even read the music.
I will appreciate any comments about this two issues.

No you can't do that, Microsoft hasn't made a cool enough version.
With the iTunes thing, I'm confused because iTunes can do all of that.

Simple answer is that that MM for windows didn't store anything other than the song names in the ID3 tags, you could try highlighting all of the songs and then use get CD Track Names under Advanced(you have to be online), if that doesn't work then you'll have to do things the hard way and group the songs in an album and highlight them then use apple+i to bring up the info window, use the info tab and start filling in the info.

about your 3000 mp3's that you want to organize, to type in the band and album and all that other stuff, press command+i. it will bring up a new window where you can put a bunch of stuff in. that should help a bit
