Description: It's just a little. No one will notice.

I figured that since while I'm at it, I should post something for you guys. I think you're gonna start to REALLY hate 4Kids now.

Someone decided to change their name mid-manga. Hmmm......

Anyways.....yeah......I'm sure that's not photoshopped neither.....

Perhaps Viz sucumbed to the pressure that is 4Kids and changed his name? I dunno. But if that were true, then Shonen Jump would have changed the names to the YGO cast.

The plot thickens.......

MUUUUUUUUUUSSSST STRAAAAAAAAAANGLE.......

like I said on AIM

...@#$%ing up my saturdays with their crappy attempts at making dubs was enough to piss me off....but messing with my manga too? THEY. WILL. PAY.

I usually don;t midnt he mistranslation of the names when it coems to "l"s and "r"s but in this case I know it'd amke more sense due to the name of the great "Zoro" so yeah I can understnad that. Still, at least they actually KEPT the names of the characters like Luffy, Nami and Buggy just to name a few. Unlike in worse cases such as Yugioh, where almsot eVERY name is changed to something not even remotely cool...like Tristan and Tea (I can live with Joey, because it's very similar to Jounouchi)

Ew. That's not right. :{
Ebil that it is.
Zoro is Zoro. That's that. >:

Why on earth would they decide on a name change in mid-manga? Did they think no one would notice? And besides, it's the MANGA for crying out loud! It's SUPPOSED to be true to the original!

I swear, it's afterthoughts like this that make me want to drag the translators out into the woods and disembowel them with a wooden cooking spoon!

I just hope that they won't change Tao Ren in Shaman King to Tao Len. Although I won't mind that really unless they decide to call him Lenny, all the time...

Oooooh, I'm pretty sure they will...they got ZoRo (NO L, BEYOTCH >:), after all.

Hmmmmm...there was and apparently won't be any installments of Yu-Gi-Oh in this and a few more SJ books for a while because of some kind of Where's Yugi thing contest they got going...perhaps that's just an excuse while they edit their American names and terms in? *shrug*

hmm, Zoro to Zolo. I think if they kept the Manga name, there'd be some copyright infringements with Disney due to their own Zorro, because it's pronounced exactly the same on T.V. it's the same reason Mitsubishi changed the name of their Japanese-Market GTO to the U.S. Market 3000GT. in that case, Pontiac and Ferrari had the rights to that name.
