what game do you want to see turned into a good movie?

A few I think would be are Xenosaga, the Silent Hill series, Zone Of Enders and Metal Gear Solid.

Sonic Heroes, Billy Hatcher, Super Mario Sunshine. There, happy?

what about Halo?

Only if it's CGI. A live-action Halo would suck.

I still say my version of Doom (Not the shite that's in production) would rock.

Actually . . . I've heard tell that there's already plans in the works for a live-action Halo movie, with Master Chief still voiced by the same person but acted by everone's favorite Governator, "Ahhnald" Swartzenagger. (sp?)

Honestly? Halo 2 is gonna be enough of a movie for me, so instead I vote for Chrono Trigger!!

Bungie has quashed those rumours. Twice. There isn't a Halo movie in production, and there won't be for the forseeable future.

The Medal of Honour series? Not really a significant difference but you get the idea.

How about GTA.

The Games that would turn to be the GREATEST MOVIES, would be

Halo cause of the great plot and enemys and all that. And

Metal Gear Solid...well let's just say it WOULD be the best. In other words, if it DID became a movie, then it would be VERY popular, trust me.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Final Fantasy movie

Like ACTUAL Final Fantasy, say... involving the some trademark characters

i.e.

The Black Mage
Chocobos
The summoned creatures (Bahamut, Shiva, etc.)
Maybe even have the story revolving a character named.. hmm... Cid... ?
Yes... that sounds like a reasonable main character for a Final Fantasy movie.. right?


I think that a Final Fantasy movie should be done right... like, a new story.. something fresh and whatnot... like a script FOR a new FF game.. but just made into a movie.... minus the random battles of course :D

one thing you have to realise about games into movies is that the plot isn't going to be the same - Chrono Trigger movie might be the same as Chrono Trigger Sequal being Chrono Cross... i.e. Bad and most fans hate it.

What has to be good is a consept. (going though what people said)

Legend Of Zelda - Good concept could be made into a good movie.
the Silent Hill series - This i think would make a BRILLIENT movie - just have to get the RIGHT kind of horror writer in to write the scripts
Zone Of Enders - There is Already Two anime series of this so i have to say yes.
Metal Gear Solid - James bond/Mission impossible-esc consept - very easily could be a good film.
Halo - The plot of Halo was good - but i don't think it would be a good movie...the Whole one man army wouldn't transfer well onto the screen.
Evil Genius - Evil Genius is just austin powers movies from the bad guys prespective.
Chrono Trigger - mentioned above.
The Medal of Honour series - s World War II movie based on a World War II Game - i don't think so.
GTA - Depends you could get REALLY good Gangster Film Writers in and make a Brillient Mob movie to go with the GTA lisence. or it could suck.

There is a videeogame movie coming out soon in England which i am a bit iffy over - House Of The Dead. ("How Do You Kill Something Which Is Already Dead? - Any Way You Can.") It has nothing to do with the games but it does look like it will be REALLY funny to watch.

There was a GTA movie, but it was old and stuff like before the games.

Also, Zone of the Enders started out as a movie, Zone of the Enders: Idalo (sp?) and then a tv series, Zone of the Enders: blah blah (cant remember) and a game series.

No, it's closer to being a proper spoof of classic spy movies (Like Casino Royale was), and has very subtle humour. Also, it isn't tacky and childish like Austin Powers is.

The Longest Day, Saving Private Ryan, The Guns of Navarrone, Patton, The Dirty Dozen, Tora! Tora! Tora!, Pearl Harbor...list goes on. There are far too many WWII movies to justify making one out of a game. That's just redundant.

Return To Castle wolfenstein would be the best game movie ever. hands down.

Final Fantasy VII... Oh wait, it is... But. Seriously I would love to see Zelda as well...

Hmmm A Megaman Legends movie. Now that would be awesome or just a Megaman movie in general even if it's an EXE one.

Hello? Are we forgetting what generally happens when games are turned into movies?

*points at Steet Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and original Sonic movie* And, according to Ebert, the Resident Evil ones suck too. But I wouldn't know personally.

Thus, call me a skeptic. But I would like to see a GOOD Sonic movie, yeah. Heck, the best movie would include ALL the characters... Sega, Archie, Fleetway, SatAM, AoStH, anything! That would rule! Oh, and then Dan Drazen could write the script. Because it would be nice to have someone COMPETENT in charge of a Sonic plot for once.

I agree with you on them things - Time Splitters games would be good - they incorperate two of my fav. things - time travel & guns.

(it will have to have lots of moments when things happen - and you don't know why - then later on in the movie you find out because of some going back in time.)

10k rocks - something simmiler could be made into a movie - it might be good.
