Just saw the trailer on TV....
Didn't know that dolls could reproduce... but they can't talk either.... soo.. uhh.. yeah....
.. and it's even got Redman in it... ... .. yeaaaahhh...... and he plays himself..... yeaaaaaahhh...
I'm not really sure how to react to it....
It's comin' here in the states near halloween... and .. I'm not entirely sure about everywhere else.. though
this link gives 2 dates for world wide.. so.. I'm a little confused... and there's some more info there too
I've been a fan of the series for a while.. not an UBER fan... I just liked the movies.
... and I'm curious as to how the writers will... um.. resurrect Chucky.. AGAIN!!!...

This movie makes my eyes bleed.

Bah in my opinion the child's play series died after child's play 3... I didn't like Bride of Chucky too much but that's just my opinion.

I liked Bride of Chucky actually, Jennifer Tilly is a wonderful actress, and the writers maintained the humor with the blood.. which I find difficult to do...

Well to be honest I'm not all that big of a Child's Play fan anyways. I'm more into the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street movies so to make a long story short my favorite horror movie of all time was Freddy vs Jason.
But still I'm surprised that they're continuing Child's Play. I thought that did end.

I should have been more specific. I agree there.
Every time a movie of that series come to a close I think it's finally over.
Sure, they always have a cliffhanger that may or may not lead to a sequel.
But the doll that actually came out in this era isn't even in circulation any more.
To be honest, it's hard for me to think a doll, let alone a cute one will start wielding a butcher knife and come at me in my sleep.
A half dead lake zombie with a machette or the soul of a serial child murderer that's back from hell seem more awe inspiring and frightening, no?

But what really threw me off when I saw that trailer was Britney Spears being chased down by Chucky and then Chucky says "Opps I did it again" and then laughs evily and then this comes up on the screen "Britney Spears does not make a apperance in this movie" .......What the Flying Jesus happened just then o.o?

Unfortunately, I have not watched that many Chucky movies. Actually, I only watched the last half of "Bride of Chucky" ( Holy shit, that ending was disgusting ), and I thinkI might at some point attempt seeing the first one, and of course all of the second one...
So they're making a third one, eh? Tiik'em a bit long, didn't it? As far as I know, "Bride of Chucky" came out in '98...

Well, when he chases aforementioned girl off the road, one of Brits songs is blaring on the radio.

Not to me. That film gave me nightmares for years, and dolls still make me feel uneasy.

Technically this is the Fifth... and Bride of Chucky was the fourth
The other three were just named Child's Play 1, 2, and 3

Well, whaddaya know. I sure don't know anything, it seems.
Kinda embarrasing how I have started to like horror movies but has watched VERY few.
