Huh.If he wasn't kidding about this,maybe there is hope for a Robin hood sequel!(It was a line one of the rappers in the movie said.)

Spacballs is the movie of our time! But I dunno if the sequel will be as good as the original...but I'd like to see how it turns out either way.

Considering that the original two Star Wars sequels were out-of-this-world, they'd better not. It's not like they're parodying bad movies. >.>

yeah I was told that john died some time ago, i think Chris Farley of SNL should step in.

See, now, this is gonna suck. Suck hard. Suck on rocks. Mel Brooks is far-removed from his original funniness. Have you SEEN the movies he's put out in the last few years? Nowhere near the quality of what he used to do.
Now what this movie NEEDS to be is a rerelease of Spaceballs. However, make it a 'Special Edition' with unnecessary CGI, new scenes added for no reason (c'mon Yogurt song-and-dance number!) and crucially unneeded changes made for no reason. You know, a complete parody of what Star Wars has become.
Prolly won't be getting that though, and that's a shame.

They're actually gonna make the sequel? Wow, thats a bit of a surprise, I quite enjoyed the first one but the fact that sequels for these kind of movies kinda drop after that, I didn't care much.
Of course, that was years ago, and with todays technology, it would be interesting to see what they'll do in this one.
