Title: Top Movies You Hate?
Description: Sick of Spidey? Bored of Bond?

Grand Master Eastwood - September 26, 2004 01:04 PM (GMT)
What movies to you loathe, despite the fact the general moviegoing masses love them?

For me, the most recent has to be Spiderman 2. Let me get one thing straight though. Dr. Octopus is cool. Every scene he was in was worth watching. For the discount rate I paid, it was worth £4 to see him.
What ruined the film for me? Spidey. Peter Parker angsting, Peter Parker acting idiotic, Peter Parker making a hash of his life. His whining pretty much ruined a good film for me. Considering the film was shown as an action movie, I saw it as defeating the point of the exercise.

Kill Bill 2. 10 minutes of fun wrapped up in 110 minutes of suck.

So. What have you lot got?

Starship Troopers.

The reason should be obvious enough...

Napoleon Dynamite-I hated this film. So many thought it was funny, but god, was it a drag. maybe if there was a plot and some more developed humourous characters I could've enjoyed this movie A LOT more.

The worst movie ever has to be Escape from L.A.

It is so freaking stupid, you'd wonder why in the hell they'd make it in the first place.

Yeah, it may be bad... But do droves of people love it? Was it a box-office smash? That's kinda the point of the topic. Popular movies you hate, not just regular films you hate.

I can't STAND James Bond. I hate the character and anything having to do with him and I hope the person responsible for his creation burns in hell.

It must be noted, Flemings original novels and the films are incredibly different... The Bond we know and love is more a creation of Hollywood than Fleming.

I hate 13 going on 30. Well, I was forced to see it. My friends and I went to the cheapo(tickets range from 50 cents to $1.50, and they show recently old movies)movies and we bought tickets for 13 going on 30, but went to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, apparently it was the one day out of the month that the manger shows, and he prompt;y kicked us out and into 13 going on 30.

Sky de Insane Wonder - October 8, 2004 11:50 PM (GMT)
Bambi. Absolutely cannot stand this frickin' piece o' crap film. And sure, it's old, it's Disney - but consider the fact that I was six or seven when I saw it, and refused to see it ever again. If I couldn't cope with the pain of seein' it when I was that young, then it had to be pretty pathetic... :ph43r:
