John Carpenter's 'The Thing'. Brilliant movie from start to finish, and UNMATCHED creature effects even to this day. CGI can't beat Rick Baker's monsters back in his hey-day.

I'm a horror-movie wuss; I haven't seen anything worse than "Ghost Ship" or "Silence of the Lambs". The former sucked, the latter was incredible. But neither of those are reeeeeally horror. Horror is "The Shining", "The Ring", "The Exorcist".
... Strange how they all seem to start with "the". XD

Hmmmmm I found The Ring rather non scary or diturbing i laughed at it all the way through pointing out errors and making fun of the people in it maybe that says somthing about me I don't know.......... the only scene i found cool was when that girl came out of the T.V set now that was cool and The Exorcist well don't get me started

well my fav sci-fi hero has got to be Bishop from Aliens he just cool that knife stunt he does wow was that cool or what
