Title: Worst Movies Ever
Description: List the worst films you've ever seen
DuoTH - September 12, 2004 10:02 PM (GMT)
For me, the absolute worst movie I've ever seen would have to be The Amityville Horror. The only good thing it provided was great MST-ing moments, and the classic line "THIS HOUSE IS TEARING ME APART!". My friend said that halfway through he was wishing Ronald DeFeo would pop out of the TV and shoot him so he wouldn't have to see the rest of the crappy movie. We've both seen some pretty bad movies but this one actually made MST-ing it a CHORE.
markusdragon - September 12, 2004 11:34 PM (GMT)
Ooh... so many MSTed movies, and so many MSTable movies...
However, If you don't count any of the MSTed movies, then that abonimable trash bucket known as 'Critters 3: You Are What They Eat' has to class as the worst film I've ever seen. Imagine a very small scale 'towering inferno' mixed with a lower budget version of Gremlins (yes, less than £2.50!), starring a young leonardo dicaprio, and you have Critters 3.
oO?Kodama - September 12, 2004 11:51 PM (GMT)
well, one is Jeepers Creepers(The first). Another is the first Resident Evil movie.
Grand Master Eastwood - September 13, 2004 07:47 AM (GMT)
No-one here will get the joke, but Master of Disguise is one of the worst films ever made. Bad enough to be the basis of a challenge involving how many consecutive times you can watch the film.
Cats and Dogs was quite poor, too.
Citizen Bill - September 13, 2004 11:59 AM (GMT)
Godsend was a huge disappointment with me. As was Bubba Ho-tep. But that's what you get for renting movies based entirely on their awesome title words and cover art.
The BOFH - September 16, 2004 04:14 PM (GMT)
Collateral. if i want to talk to a cabby, ill use that transport. not watch a sodding film about it.

Yeah, he did... a bad one I saw was curse of the Jersey Devil, I think. That was plain awful. Oh look, weird guy with evidence identical to mine. Oh, look, he's the Jersey Devil. Oh, I can't kill him. Oh well, I just end up in a mental institute. Bit like a Scooby Doo film gone violent to tell the truth.
oO?Kodama - September 16, 2004 07:27 PM (GMT)
Well, the Sailor Moon movies suck royally...
Master Shake - September 16, 2004 07:51 PM (GMT)
Monster A-Go-Go.
Beat that.
oO?Kodama - September 16, 2004 07:58 PM (GMT)
Fine. 2021:A Space Oddysey. Or maybe Abyss
Gordo - September 16, 2004 08:21 PM (GMT)
Shark Attack 3: Megaladon. Such low-budget effects and minimal profanity make it a bad PG-13 movie.
oO?Kodama - September 16, 2004 08:24 PM (GMT)
Well, Gordo takes the cake, because PG-13 movies aren't supposed to have XX beach scenes
Gordo - September 16, 2004 09:06 PM (GMT)
Lexum - September 16, 2004 09:10 PM (GMT)
Necronomicon: The Book of The Dead
It was a reallllyyy horrible low budget horror film.. that had wierd octupi jumping through the floorboards in one scene and attacking the actors... gah.... sooo horrible.. but a great movie to make fun of....
I wanted to see MST3000 to do it.. but I have yet to see it... I doubt they did.. but that would've been hillarious...
Modifious - September 16, 2004 10:08 PM (GMT)
Kill Bill. Many will be angry. I don't give a flying squirrel fack. It sucked terribley.
Not only was it corny, but it was so radical that it was unbelievable. Slicing a guy's hand off does NOT procure Niagara Falls of blood.
The characters are stupid and Uma Therman is not hot. :<
And the animated part of the movie was so horrible. She shot a guy's foot and it blew off in a big ass gory display. What the hell? I hope the guys who drew that get their feet tied to a running motorcycle in hopes THEIR legs come off in a big ass gory display. Then people will pay $9.25 to see it.
I didn't bother with Vol. 2 because I didn't want to use money on theater nor DVD rental. Besides, I heard she kills Bill in 5 seconds.
Proceed.
Jim Prower - September 16, 2004 10:34 PM (GMT)
well......while i liked the Modeling work....and i'm going to shock alot of people saying this, given my latest topic,.....
I dislike Thomas and the Magic Railroad.
Why?
1. WAY.....TOO......CLICHE!!! I mean, the whole "Gold Dust" thing, while making for an interesting problem to solve....
2. why not try some harder coal than what's on the Mountain, grandpa? there's grades out there that are as good as Sodor coal! Or maybe Propane? 'at'll mak 'er steam! geez....
3. Getting a little tired of the whole "Evil Diesel" thing...I hope they never make an Alco PA, the prettiest diesel ever built, into a villian...
4. live action combined with model railroading....it just doesn't work....Try CG-ing next time...or use real model people, like in the T.V. shows.
5. ALEC BALDWIN AS MR. CONDUCTOR?!?!?!?!???!!!! WT(I can't believe i'm about to type this)F!!! they could have asked Ringo Starr or George Carlin to do it....
6. that one kid knows Waaaaay too much.....
7. the acting's horrible, with the exception of the locomotives' voice actors.
oO?Kodama - September 16, 2004 11:07 PM (GMT)
What about...Halloween 4:Day of the Witch. that was pretty horrible in itself, seeing as how it had nothing to do with Micheal Meyers and his evilness.

Holy crap, I didn't know Aint It Cool news was exporting their hyperbole abusers to other forums. Congrats, though. Unlike your brethern, you didn't resort to calling it 'gay' or 'retarded' or 'gaytarded' or whatever bastardized word they've made up lately. Interesting troll to end with, too. "Yeah, I talked shit about a movie you like! You gonna do somethin' bout it?" Sorry, not today.
Monster A-Go-Go is still the winner. You can't beat a movie where they can't afford a ringing telephone (so they have an actor offscreen make a phone noise before answering it), all the dialog sounds like its being spoken through two tin cans connected by string, all the characters do nothing and the evil monster that kills things (offscreen) suddenly stops existing during the 'climax' and the narrator has to explain why in a voiceover. Ed Wood could watch this movie and jeer it; that's how bad it is. Oh, and it's called Monster A-Go-Go. Easily (and this is by the MST3K creators own admission) the worst movie ever MiSTed.
And if you require another bad movie: Universal Soldier The Return. A movie with NO ENDING. It just stops. There's a battle, then the setup to another battle, and then everything explodes before that second battle can take place THE END. Oh, and apparently the dead also not only walk, they can make babies with the living. It wasn't even the cool Zombie Baby from 'Dead Alive', either.

Aint It Cool news? What? You wouldn't be happening to be talking about the USSR would you? That's the only other forum I go to.
Anyways, I also disliked Crouching Tiger: Hidden Dragon.
Chicks flying through the air with swords and fighting off guys while drinking tea. Sorry. I need more depth than that.

You watch kung-fu movies for depth? HAHAHAHAHAHA!
oO?Kodama - September 17, 2004 11:46 PM (GMT)
Well, another crappy movie is "Zombies vs. Vampires:The Living Dead vs. the Undead!"
It was like Hanna-Barbera's craptastic Godzilla power hour all over again.
Modifious - September 17, 2004 11:48 PM (GMT)
Indeed Bill. I like a little story and believability behind my punching and kicking and ass whooping and whatnot.
Lightning Hedgehog - September 18, 2004 12:03 AM (GMT)
Plan Nine From Outerspace. Old B&W film thast was the WORST EVER. It was a sad atttempt at a horror movie that was about as scary as a newborn baby. The acting exceeds a new low in flimaking and the creators epnt less money on the film then a Middle-school English teacher does on a class movie project.
Death Bringer - September 18, 2004 12:14 AM (GMT)
I think it was called "Return of the Living Dead 2". A whole town was quarantined 'cause some military chemical spilled and infected this whole grave yard... I remember one of the zombie dudes kept saying to who WAS his GF when he was alive, "Your brains smell so gooooood...!" That was SO f***ing stupid!
Teh Shade - September 18, 2004 12:21 AM (GMT)
One movie to eternaly suck: HARRY POTTER 3!
IT SKIPPED EVERYTHING GOOD IN THE BOOK!
AND THE NEXT BOOK IS EVEN BETTER, SO THEY BETTER NOT SCREW UP AGAIN.
The V.G.M - September 18, 2004 12:41 AM (GMT)

Smerph Greenfox - September 18, 2004 01:20 AM (GMT)
Paycheck.
God, what a horrible movie that was, eh?
Unique concept, but it just doesn't deliver. My friend rented it and we MsT'ed the entire thing.

Fine, if we're gonna go with MSTed movies, then Manos: The Hands of Fate (which is even more boring than the version seen on MST3K as BBI cut out.... driving scenes >_<. Those driving scenes make up about half of the movie!)
Also Beast of Yucca Flats
Dark Chaos - September 18, 2004 06:49 AM (GMT)
Slaughter High.
I do reccommend you read
SA.com's review of it.
Modifious - September 18, 2004 06:48 PM (GMT)
Why hasn't anyone said Cable Guy yet? :<
Lexum - September 18, 2004 06:52 PM (GMT)
another just came to me...
Toxic Avenger...
*shudders*

well, it depends on what kind of driving scenes. are they all drifting around and jumping cars and dodging explosions? or are they just driving around?
