Well, today I went and saw Alien vs. Predator, and my was I blown away. Not only did they truly do the whole cat/dog type rivalry, they got the queen down too.

Well, here's what I know, mixed in with the movie. The cambodians, egyptians and aztecs were taught to build by the predators, or "Rahkshasa" as the India natives now them by.

It was a great honor in this society to be ritually face-hugged(go firgure). Anyway, the hunters would come down ever 100 years and they face rapage would begin. If the serpents(aliens) got out of control, a hunter would do his little kamikaze trick like in Predator 1, this happened and that whole frickin' society was destroyed in one night.

Okay, now onto some comic-related things.

If you're a faithful comic reader of Predator, you know that they and the Xenomorphs don't quite get along....

It's considered the most dangerous hunt to hunt for the Xenomorphs, and even more dangerous when they go on the raid for the Queen. They have the queen lay eggs, and they seed planets with them, normally backwater planets.

Now, onto more relevent crap. The Weland Industries company will none other become the Weyland Yutani conglomorate, who inevitably leads to the death and rebirth of Ripley, and the deaths of many and many civilians and space marines.

Now, we all know that it takes skills to hunt the Xenomorphs, and only 3 predators were in the movie for the hunt, they all die, but the most skilled doesn't die until he and the african-american woman fight the queen. Now, it's one thing if a predator kills a human, and it's another if he actually accepts her, as shown in the movie when he marked her cheek.

Anyway, that was a good movie, and I haven't seen so much physical abuse to one Xenomorph in any movie like that so far, unless you count Ripley and the Queen's bout in Aliens 2.
