Fan-friggin-tastic movie. Cruise and Foxx and director Michael Mann knock it out of the park in this one. Great acting, great action, great dialog: this is a lean-mean movie. No CGI fluff, no crazy special effects ODs, no high concept-driven shananigans, no fat: just a superb bare-bones character study against the backdrop of an action movie.

Cruise rocks, Foxx is a revelation, and Mann's made his best movie since Heat. Go see it.
