Suprisingly, Ebert made a valid comment on this movie.
BEST.SUPERHERO MOVIE. SO FAR.
The only thing that comes close is Batman: Forever. Which had Jim Carey. So it's only a hair away from Spiderman 2's awesomeness.
Summary: Spiderman 2 and Batman: Forever kicked ass, disagree and you're going to hell.

Correction: Batman Forever SUCKED ass. The first in the steady string of movies that KILLED the comic book movie until X-Men and Spider-Man came along to save it.
And yeah, I'm going to hell, but for worthier reasons than for seeing Batman Forever as the fetid skeet-stain it is.
