Also No, this is almost NOTHING like Sign. Dusk as it was called by many, or as it's called now Twilight it a much more humor based series. 12 episodes long it's a good watch, it has some great moments thats for sure. And also one of my favorite characters of all time is from it, Mireille as I mentioned above. The ending was... Leaving something to be desired. I was disappointed with the end myself...
Anyway if you wanted a more humor based .hack series, yeah you should watch this. It doesn't start to get 'serious' untill about the 6th I think it was...

I have the first Manga issue and saw the first episode of the show last week. They changed alot of things. I could've sworn Rena was the one who won the avatars, not each winning one. Also why'd they show Haro( I think that's her name) so early? So many diferent things, it's easy to get lost with all the .Hack stuff.

I havent read teh manga in a while, but Rena (shes teh only one I remember) was the one who actually played the MMORPG The World. Her brother never played it before, so she gave him the Kite avatar.

Beczuase I actually like to SLEEP at night, I don't stay up to watch it cuz I have to get up early on saturdays. However I did get the DVD with the first 4 epsiodes on it and I read the first volume of the manga too.
