It's 2015. I think, most people lost the specifics of time after awhile. Batteries are long dead, no one has the time. What do you mean, "where am I?" you're home. Only home you're gonna know. This is uh... I think this used to be a big time city, before the war.

You knock your head or something? You gotta know about the war. I still remember the headlines... "CANADA INVADES THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". Nothing better. No one was suspecting it either. 'Parently, Canada was just holding a charade on the world that it was an independent country, when it was still loyal to Britain. And for some reason, Britain never really liked that America split off from them. Talk about a grudge, the old bastards. But yes, the war. It was a total surprise, no one was suspecting it.

No one was expecting them to deploy biological warfare either. I'm sure they didn't even know what the hell they were pumping out, but they went about it anyway. 'Merica put up as good as a fight as it could, but her people were getting sick left and right. Innocent people, who hadn't signed up for this. So they surrendered. Surrendered to those crumpet eating bastards.

Now here's where we come on. This city. Britain stopped its poisoning of everything breathing and decided to try and cultivate the land. The assholes. But, not enough people were dying as planned. Some were immune. Call it lock of the draw, good or bad what have you. So they survived.

The problem was... while whatever they pumped didn't kill them, it still affected them. Sure, not right away, but then the children were born. Those were horrible. All those... physical deformities. Extra limbs, scales, I heard one kid was born with gills. Those viruses got into people's DNA, and fucked them up good. So what did our new Overlords decide to do? Build a wall, shoot whatever goes across.

And that's where we come in. I can't remember what this city used to be called, but it has a lot of names now. The Cage. Hell. Alhazred. It doesn't matter. What matters is survival. Speaking of which... that's a good amount of food you've got with you, boy.

Anyways, even for people not joining, mind just having a look around and giving feedback?

My thoughts with this is I'm trying to make it as free as possible. Not gonna have a plot that people will have to follow, I just want to allow people to have fun doing whatever the hell it is they want.

That reminds me, the plot fucked off in Epic. Thank God. That Clay bullshit was getting old.

I read the plot. When I see the end of the last paragraph, I can't help but think District 9 Spinoff. Still sounds cool though.

All I know about District 9 is it involves aliens. and it's apparently good. Other than that, not a damn clue :D
