Title: TFS!

Straa McLovin - August 15, 2009 12:32 AM (GMT)
I am in need of music. Throw up some suggestions. I'm also wanting some classical pieces as well.

The V.G.M - August 15, 2009 12:36 AM (GMT)
I don't really listen to anything classical, although I'd recommend atb. He's an electronica and techno artist with some pretty good tracks. DJ Sharpnel & M1dy have some good tracks as well.

Bassnectar, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Natalie Portman's Shaved Head, Jonquil, Ultra Sheriff, Ronald Jenkees.

That last one looks kind of autistic.

Bassnectar

He played at the music festival I was working at. At one in the morning, in Ewok Village I believe. Apparently he was fucking good. I was out like a light at one in the morning though.

Fireyone - August 15, 2009 01:14 AM (GMT)
ELO, Queen, Masterplan, Reel Big Fish, and I'm gonna say JAM Project as well.

RusekuCozan - August 15, 2009 01:14 AM (GMT)
I like The New Pornographers..

Most people don't because they think they're some huge R-rated band. They have the cleanest lyrics ever :<

Linken Rocuta - August 15, 2009 02:25 AM (GMT)
Por Ti Volare, if you're in to Opera. It made me cry.

Just throwing in my classical.

Straa McLovin - August 15, 2009 02:31 AM (GMT)
Thanks, but opera's not my thing. Got 60 classical songs, so thing I'm good with that area now.

Also, TNP sound good. Their albums have been received.

Fair to Midland, Bitter:Sweet, Dog Fashion Disco, Mindless Self Indulgence, Scars On Broadway... Um, yeah, that's a few I can pick out from my library. All rock, kinda, but very different ends of the spectrum.

If ya don't like any of 'em, I won't be offended. :D

Bassnectar is exquisite. It makes me want to raise the roof so bad that I can't draw while listening to it. Listen to NPSH because they're awesome, and if nothing else, because of Beard Lust.

Who in the fuck does not like Queen? Sounds like something a motherfucker would do. Are you a motherfucker?

Well, are you?

Iota - August 15, 2009 05:15 PM (GMT)
Rush up in this motherfucker.

Also, Concrete Blonde, Pink Floyd, and The Doors.

I-what? I love Queen, downloaded all of Reel Big Fish, and while only hearing one or two ELO songs, enjoy them.

I figured you were posting that because he posted bands I'd obviously already be enjoying.

Ahh didn't know that.

You ever hear Sweet talking Woman by ELO? It's probably there best song.

Oh yeah, I would totally look into Electric Light Orchestra.

ALSO I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS YOU OR VIXX THAT SENT ME THAT ONE MR. BUNGLE SONG BUT I'VE STARTED LISTENING TO THEM AND I'M DIGGING THEM, MAYBE YOU SHOULD GIVE THEM A TRY.

Since you asked for classical music...

How about Weber's opera, "Der Freischütz"?

Especially worth looking into it if you want a more clear reason why Rip Van Winkle feared Alucard Tepes in Hellsing. Mmmm, delicious.
