Quit taking me on an emotional rollercoaster, Bandai.

It is missing the awesomeness of TTGL and Nadesico. Until I see either of those in there I refuse to exited about it.

Is Bandai doesn't include them, it'll be a really just... STUPID move businesswise. Do you know how many people would shell out cash for a SRW with Gurren Lagann?

Also, where is GaoGaiGar on that list? He was in previous games D:

To everyone complaining about TTGL not being in NEO, to my understanding the Right to Gurren Lagann in Merchandising are owned by Konami, so it's highly unlikely that we'll see Gurren Lagann in a SRW title for a while.

Of course, we got Zoids Genesis in K, and that's owned by Tomy so who knows what the possibilities are, either way, I intend to play Neo, even if it is 3-D. I just want to see the New Getter team (who is completely Batshit insane) fighting alongside Kid shows like Iron Leaguer.

I'm honestly not expecting to see TTGL in SRW until maybe a 2010 game. Furthermore, would like to see Getter Emperor included in such a game, just for the galaxy sized mecha face off.

That said, this is like a Super Robot power hour. Very awesome.

...wait, Daiteioh wasn't released as an anime, right?

...so, there may be hope for other such series. Like, I dunno, Baan Gaan, man.

None of those don't even come close to TTGL though.

I believe Daiteioh got a one episode pilot, which just flopped.


Edit for Mike: That's not the point, the point is another company owns the License for Gurren Lagann, which means they have to give more cash to that company. So it's a decision they have to make, do we add in a competitors series, and make money for them, or do we leave it out and make more money for ourselves and companies we've been doing with this for awhile.

They made millions off this series from weeaboos all over the planet, I'm sure they could buy konami lunch one time.

The payoff from having Gurren Lagann in the game would probably make up for the difference created from pleasuring paying Konami to use him.

With G Gundam being in this game, I could just play as Master Asia without a Gundam, and still kick the crap out of people.

Actually they were going to make it a full series, it was to be the fourth in the Eldorian series after Go-saurer, but scrapped it a the last minute. Instead they made an OVA as an apology to fans of the Eldorian series and the rest of the story was told though manga.

I'm actually shocked that they picked up Daiteioh, but I'm more excited that they are having Go-saurer in it since not only is it my favorite of the Eldorian series but it's the only anime I seen that features roboticization(Satam FTW). However it's called mechization in the series.

Jman: I think it's because SRW has a thing for Obscure series, Hell, the only time Xabungle appeared was in Alpha Gaiden, and Recently in Z, so I think it's got something to with creating popularity.

FLCL Wasn't a seperate canon from Gurren Lagann. They're one in the same. Everyone has a different spiral signature.

...Atomsk's race had a red spiral signature, as opposed to the human green. Naota simply found his own spiral shard, and Exalted

As discussed with Sam, if TTGL is to get into a SRW series, it is necessary that we get some Jehuty and or Anubis in there too.

Yeah your right, in fact that was the only reason I can think of as to why Golion, aka Lion Force Voltron, was in the SRW W for the DS, considering that it bombed in Japan.

One of the GBA games had the Nadeisco series represented. Doesn't look like this game will, though, which is depressing.

I still plan on giving it a chance, who knows? Maybe they improved upon it since GC/XO.

I'm still hoping for Sentai and Megas XLR to get into SRW.

Sentai wise, look up Super hero Sakusen or a similar named title. It was made by banpresto during the Ps1 era and featured super sentai, metal heroes, and toku heroes all rolled into an SRW game. IIRC it went as far as Kamen Rider Black RX and possibly PR ZEO..

Megas is an incredible long shot...we can only dream man..

We will never see Megas XLR or The Big Guy and Rusty in a SRW, ever.
