So, this new Metroid game is a co-operative effort by Nintendo and, of all the companies, Team Ninja. I think we can see this as being a defiantly mature Metroid, with FUCK YEAH Gameplay, and all that.

Simple explanation, McLovin my friend. Team Ninja does not have the familiarity with the Wii hardware that allowed Retro Studios to pull off such pretty effects and filtering for Metroid Prime 3.

I'm still more excited for the re-release of all the Metroid Primes on a single disc for the Wii.

I don't own a Wii, but that's a pretty fucking good reason to now.

Prime Trilogy's gonna have all the games changed for Wii controls, just like Prime 3, so some may have problems with that.
Not me, personally. I was fine with Prime 3's controls.

Anyway, I'm quite excited for Other M. It seems like, at the very least, it'll be damn fun. I'm wondering if the difficulty curve will be on par with other Team Ninja games, or if they'll easy it up a bit.

Shit yeah, I'm going to be buying Metroid Prime Trilogy when it comes out. Fucking Japanese got screwed and have to buy all 3 separately. Don't know about those Europeans, but they always get screwed so it's probably the same way.
