What?
Why?

Edwurdo - May 9, 2009 02:03 AM (GMT)
Haven't the last few games or something had every single fucking pokeymons ever? Why would you want to go and play something new that only gives you half of them?

~ In before someone mentions Mudkips not being in Gold/Silver either

Because Gold/Silver were the best.

I never played Gold and Silver due to my being sick of the games by the time they released. Why does EVERYONE say that they were the best?

Why not? Every Pokemon game needs a remake.

First games to do the following:

Night and Day system which determined which pokémon were available for capture.

Allowed you to craft special kinds of pokéballs via a smithy in one of the towns using specific items(I forget, weren't they nuts or something)?

Gave you the ability to allow your monsters to hold onto items in battle which added a certain depth to the battle system with items that increased either their health/PP/special attributes during the course of the brawl.

Allowed you to backtrack to previous regions(i.e. Kanto).

Best dungeons.

Two new types of pokémon which added diversity to the already large variety of them with the Metal and Dark types.

Shiny pokémon.

That pretty much sums it up right there.

Well I guess makes sense why people were so fond of Gold/Silver then

I would stand by my 'Missing half the 'mons' point but most of Gen IV's lot sucked anyway in my opinion

I assume they'd bring Gens II and IV into this as added content anyway

~ Also, tee hee, crafting nuts into balls

More info:

Your starter can follow you around like in Pokemon Yellow, according to batshit crazy moonspeaking television personalities.

Hedgecat - May 10, 2009 03:50 PM (GMT)
HAATO Gold and SORRIDU Silver eh?

How long ago were the original versions released anyway?

Around Early 2001, I believe.

Streea Barra - May 10, 2009 04:15 PM (GMT)
Late 2000 actually~

1999 for Japan, the game's gonna be released around the 10th year anniversary for them. They could try the same thing for North America, we'd just have to wait nearly a year after Japan has this glorious game.

That's what pirating and emulation is for Streea.

Our gigantic raging hard-ons must be satiated with the DELICIOUS somehow.

Seeing as it's a Remake like FireRed and Leaf Green, you're still gonna be able to get all the new Pokemon.

-Meaning, Mudkipz in the Jhoto Region. <3

Crystal? Who's that? :;D:

Furthermore, event concerning Pichus and new art for old Pokemon.

And lastly.

Fireyone - May 13, 2009 08:12 PM (GMT)
I lol'd at the Mario Shoop.

Also, I wonder what the Pichu Event is...

-Hopes this will help future newer Pokemon games, actually learn to use the Day and Night features again.

Jman1236 - May 14, 2009 01:13 AM (GMT)
I'm importing this when it comes out. Gold/Sliver in my mind is the holy grail.
