So, today, I've been using the internet. And, for some reason, half of the webpages I have gone to have red text and a message on the top saying my computer has been filled to the fucking brim with viruses. I didn't click the link, because it's probably not a good idea, and I have ignored it all day. I did run a virus scan, and I did get rid of a couple of viruses, but now I am worried. Not only am I getting this popup/ad/virusprotectionsoftware to popup on the internet.

It is now my desktop background, and I am scared.

Virus.

Yeah, I've had this before, it's a virus/spyware thing.

I suggest using your Anti-virus software, and then use Spybot. That should clear it up, if not then my only other suggestion is load an older backup of your computer.

So I did all that.

I turn on my computer, I get to the login screen, I logon, and then I logoff. Nothing in between, just logon then I'm suddenly logging off.

I'm very sad because now I have to use this piece of shit computer, and it can't do anything. This is very depressing.

Looks like it's time to reformat, or reload an older backup.

I reformatted, and now I can log on. The downside to this is that I can not use the internet at all. I don't even have a 'Local Area Connection'. I'm hooked up to my router, and this computer, also hooked up to the router, is working the internet fine. But my newly reformatted computer, which is connected directly to the router, does not connect.

It is also sayin' that it 'cannot find your network hardware'. I get this message when I try to set up a home or small office network.
