My comp got infected with a malware called "wkgszvx.exe", I deleted it, but now Internet explorer won't open. I tried upgrading it but that didn't work. I also looked for an answer on Google, but what I found was a bunch of overly-complicated techno-babble and warnings saying that it is some really nasty shit. ...So...please help.
and to answer your questions, I'm using Firefox to post this and my Windows is XP SP3

For future reference, on needs to:
Download Combofix
open notepad
Paste:

and name it CFScript
Drag and drop it onto Combofix
let it do it's thing, and viola, problem solved
you should also go to Run and type "ComboFix /u" to make sure it's dead though
