Well, bought Fallout 3 offa Steam last night since it was going for $40 instead of the normal $50 during their big holiday sale... But there seems to be a problem.

Whenever it goes to launch Vista pops up this message saying "Direct X Setup has stopped working", and then one gets the message from FO 3 saying "Fallout 3 has failed to start (Error Code 51)". Checked the system specs and they all fit what the game requires, so how does one go about fixing this little problem?

Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit version.

AMD Athalon 6000+ 64x dual-core processor(3.11 GHZ)

3 GB RAM

Nvidia 8600GT 512 MB VGA.

Dunno where the problems are coming from this time, since it was a clean wipe due to past complications.
