Title: VOTERS, UNITE
Dr. Dickrock Diamondfucker - November 4, 2008 08:54 PM (GMT)
Went out and voted Obama (well my mom did but I pushed all the buttons).
Got free coffee and pumpkin pie. Feels good, man.
Mewchu11 - November 4, 2008 09:07 PM (GMT)
I didn't vote. Specifically to piss the internet off just that much more.
-Well that and Rhode Island will elect the democrat by double digits anyways, but mostly to piss you all off

And texas will still go red, doesn't change me from throwing myself onto the popular vote manpile.
Yes, it's kind of gay.
Wolf - November 4, 2008 09:15 PM (GMT)
If I was born one year earlier I'd be able to vote, which annoys me so much.
I like Obama in a personal kind of way, but other than that, that's really it. I haven't paid attention to both sides enough to see what they want to do, and to stick with one candidate.
I will say that McCain picking Palin as his VP really didn't convince me to support him or anything.
Alastor Blackrose - November 4, 2008 09:37 PM (GMT)
I support Obama fully but can't vote yet. However, if he does get elected, which he probably will, I'm half expecting a two week Obama presidency before he gets assassinated. His best chance for survival is to make Biden look like a complete tool, I.E. Bush.

I'm kind of thinking the same. Since you know, the KKK Still has an active presence in the USA.
Either way the president is dying in a few weeks, probably. I'd prefer biden to palin.

And neo-nazis, and asshole hillbillies, and the likes.
Whether or not Obama will be assassinated is beyond me. But yeah, I am definitely backing him, despite being six months shy of eighteen. Paraded about in my "Party like a Barackstar" shirt all day... Totally swayed some undecided teachers, methinks.
Alastor Blackrose - November 5, 2008 12:06 AM (GMT)

Streea Barra - November 5, 2008 12:08 AM (GMT)
Wow, this is pretty damn close in a lot of regions.
Hopefully this works out better than the Canadian elections last month.
-So where's the Obama celebration party happening?
Alastor Blackrose - November 5, 2008 12:15 AM (GMT)
McCain won Kentucky, and Obama won Vermont. So far it's 8 - 3 respectively.
0ctane - November 5, 2008 12:41 AM (GMT)
I guess my town is pretty damn racist, because my side of the tracks (i.e., the white side,) is primarily McCain. The other side, the black one, is all Obama.
"REMEMBER PEACE AND PROSPERITY? VOTE DEMOCRATIC."
"Or else."
Alastor Blackrose - November 5, 2008 01:03 AM (GMT)
So far McCain's in the lead, but then again, the states he's won so far are mostly southern or generally red leaning (South Carolina, Kentucky, most likely West Virginia, possibly Virginia and possibly Indiana).
Nevermind. Obama's in the lead 81 to 39 now according to CBS.
Dr. Dickrock Diamondfucker - November 5, 2008 01:24 AM (GMT)

TEXAS: SLIGHTLY BLUE ON THE POPULAR VOTESUDDENLY, I HAVE FAITH IN TEXAS.

He was also the only president recently to have a surplus.

Now, sure, we haven't had a democratic president in 8 years, but that has nothing to do over the Senate/House, they vote on makority every two years. Besides, president can really only do three things, "MAKE BILLS, VETO BILL FOR REVOTE, DECLARE WAR." He/She is not god, someone please get that into their head.

Nope, most important seat. Period.
Did you look at other markets when our market crashed? They're currently crashing just as hard due to us. Canadian dollar went flaccid thanks to this.
If we go up, the world follows us.
If we go down, the world follows us.
The world will look up and shout 'Save us'.

No.

Let me put it like this, if America falls in any given time in the world, the world more or less will fall. Yea I might be exaggerating a bit, but America is a big huge ass world power in this world and the power of that country is mainly controlled by that one man behind the desk.
It's too much power for one person to hold, in my opinion, but it is true.
But that's how I see it

SO. According to my source at msn.com
The only possible way for McCain to win, is to win the entire west coast + Alaska and Hawaii.
If he loses a single state, it brings him just short of 270.
